We have Arc, We have Solar, and void. Will we ever have a fourth?
It would be cool to have a fourth branch of super abilities added to the game. To all who read this what would be your ideas?
Also notice how the different branches of supers are based off the spectrum of light!
Red- Solar
Blue- Arc
Purple/Violet - Void
But what could be next?
Maybe green? - control over radiation? i mean radiation is a part of light and it still kinda goes along with the theme.
Or Yellow? Control over pure radiance/sunlight? Being able to temporarily blind opponents with flashes of light or hurl bolts of sunlight? more team support/healing abilities?

3 RepliesThey already made the upgraded Warnock dawnblad basically a healing and empowering rift but stronger... Next things next we will all become airbenders if you want them to add more. To answer your questions they will add more subclass in Destiny 3...dark subclasses.... I think the subs they have now are prettygood.

1 ReplyWhile a fourth subclass would be nice, I’d rather them revisit the existing subclass paths and add some more diversity to them. For instance, Arcstrider’s “Way of the Warrior” and “Way of the Wind” supers are so similar, that you could’ve combined them and while still introducing Whirlwhind Guard thru “Way of the Current”, you should’ve also added the javelin mechanic; allowing them to throw and “ground pound” their Arc Staff. Sunbreakers, combine “Code of the Fire-Forged” and “Code of the Siegebreaker” and introduce a one-shot super of them throwing a large hammer, the sun, or something more imaginative. Warlocks, IMO are in the best shape but even “Attunement of Sky” and “Attunement of Flame” could be combine and introduce a one-shot sword slash attack akin to a solar flare. So in the end, I’d luv to see more but until they do more with what we’ve got, then I think we can wait.

3 RepliesI remember a "datamine" regarding a 4th subclass, its color was green and it was centric on the darkness I can't remember too much but from what i did recall Hunters would have the following Atom run: instead of double jumping, your character runs in an inclined manner in the air for a short duration, this would also have a branched option to blink instead or to run downwards instead Super: you cast a -blam!- field that slows enemies caught within and reduced their damage by a substantial degree, where as allies entering the -blam!- would gain an increase to damage and movement speed For the life of me i cant remember much else for hunters Warlocks had this thing where they essentially cast a parasitic mist that did DoT while healing the user whenever someone was caught in the mist And titans had the ability to summon a sentry turret Im not saying any of this is true, its just stuff ive heard about thats been supposedly "datamined" For all I know it can be false speculations

3 RepliesElement combinations Void + Arc =Curse. The darkness the hive uses Solar +Arc =Radiation Solar + Void= ????? Can't think of anything Also, we really need to discuss what elements in this game actually do now. They are no where near where they should be imo. I've always questioned what was the point of matching an element against a shield if all it did was break that shield? Elements don't inherently do anything else. Void should suppress abilities and drain life, solar should burn targets and do extra damage against flesh, also increase all innate stats (mobility, resilience, recovery), and arc should do extra damage against shields and power up your own abilities. And I'm not talking about elemental abilites. I'm talking about elements. Guns, armor, etc, everything that has an element should follow a theme that goes beyond breaking a combatant shield and the occasional damage buff/DOT/suppression. And these are just some ideas. TLDR: make all current elements better before adding new ones. Arc week was a start but go further, for all classes.

3 RepliesEveryone though D2 would finally give us a fourth. But nope. Instead we got a story line that made zero sense where we lost our powers, had to get new powers from a corrupted shard and somehow those new powers were even stronger than the original ones. Then traveler wakes up and instead of us getting our old powers back or even maybe a buff to our new powers nothing happens. And still no 4th skill tree yet. Bungie is run by idiots so never expect a 4th element to be added. That would require to much imagination.
