Season of Opulence
On June 4, the treasure hunt begins.
Available to all players of Destiny 2, Season of Opulence will deliver new challenges, loot, and lore. Seasonal ranks for ritual activities will be reset once more, with a fresh set of Pinnacle weapons available to earn. The Iron Banner will be updated with a seasonal Quest to unlock armor. This summer, the Solstice of Heroes event returns with new rewards.
Owners of the Destiny 2 Annual Pass will receive their third extension of Destiny end-game content. Benedict-44 will be waiting in the Tower to help launch the new season. He’ll have your imperial summons, introducing you to treasure hunts, the Menagerie, and more.

I get that Bungie are flying solo and you need money now and shit but they didn't even try!! That doesn't surprise me at all though, they'll use some shitty excuse again like they did for the nerfs to our super exotics in the first place for somehow forgetting to BUFF our other exotics to maybe REPLACE them. Nah -blam!- that though, we'll need everything and make literally ZERO effort to amend anything. It's exactly as I said would happen. Bungie once again give players choice by removing that choice. Make it all bad and players can choose more! Nope! That's not how it works. I'm no game designer but I'm pretty sure that when something good is nerfed and it still remains the only viable option, we'll still use it. So now we have worthless exotics and the reckoning encounter remains UNCHANGED. Why? Because that's last season's content, why would anyone still expect to play that when you could just play vanilla D2 content am I right? What's the excuse for this huh? What's the god damn excuse for this nonsense? Why no buffs at all? No reworks, nothing. Bungie should be ashamed. To think we supported them at all... After all this time, they show they just don't care. They'd rather pin up their -blam!-ing cosmetic shop and cram that down your throat instead. Oh and even better, there's no new exotic armour either because Bungie are able to use the excuse that people want old gear back when there's many of us who say we'd rather NEW gear. Stop listening to the few who are more than happy to pay for old content a second time! I know it's easy money for you now, but you're pushing people away.

Just wanted to say great job. From the lil taste i got last night of the new season, this shit gonna be fun. The new activity is a blast, i got new lore to chase, and yall made it easier to know which cats i'm missing/what to do to fill them. Only thing that's bothering me so far is the change in the pursuits tab, gotta get used that that. But the fact yall increased how many we can carry is a nice trade off. Again, great job, keep it coming. PS - what about a vault space increase? we are getting so many new items, yet no space to store it

The season of all but impressed! Thankfully, it’s the last season I will be “wasting” my time hoarding and cleaning out my vault to make room, wait there are no new things, so scratch that, just hoarding then.

26 Repliesand still no reason to purchase Forsaken or the Annual Pass. I can play D1 and still have all the weapons they are "bringing back". Why would anyone pay to reacquire weapons and gear they already had in the previous game? Lazy game development pure and simple. Good luck with D3 Bungie, you will need it.

So how are we supposed to even try to get 300 sniper kills in the season of the team shooter? Or is it the season of the camper? Jeez I just don't know... I'm shit, I acknowledge that but I'm willing to try to learn in order to earn this gun. But how the hell do I learn when everyone can kill me in the same time it takes to aim and snipe someone in the head? How bout when they tap me with a single bullet and I get flinched so hard I can see the damn roof? GG Bungo. Nobody asked for a sniper cause they're not in a great place thanks to the genius of overkill flinch mechanics but here we are.

I don’t have the new respond or armor yet but they look great except the crucible and iron banner armor. Poor decision of not making any new gear. You changed the Luna and NF rate of fire but not their range. You missed that mark. Magnificent howl is now useless. The weapons still three tap. Again you messed that up. If you change archetype change it fully and if you think the perk is to powerful rework it not make it obsolete. The new/ returning exotics. Warlock helm and titan boots are great additions however you just set warlocks and titans on a rampage in PvP get ready for the call for nerfs. I’ve seen a titan with the boots shoulder charge with melting point hit a fallen walker and take more than a quarter bar of health and that means in the crucible it will one hit supers with ease which is slightly unfair. The warlock helm just brought back blink to how it-was pre nerf and added health regeneration. Again way over powered in PvP. And last let’s talk about the hunter arms. Waste of an exotic and if this is how you plan on bringing it back you should have kept it where it was, dead. The ease of use and practicality are poor. Instead of bringing it back to give invisibility and back stab which would have been great you have it wall hacks for 4 sec on a successful mele with full charge but only for the void class. I can get that from a head shot kill. So how does that compare to the other two exotics I discussed? I’ll sum it up, you missed a great opportunity here and the exotic is not worth using.

Was really disappointed in this past few seasons.not sure if I want to invest more time or money into this game.i don't really want to text my concerns here as I can chat it up all day. But destiny was my favorite game.

Bungie, why do I have to keep going back in the menu to track each part of the chalice quest? Why can't it just work like steps in everything else.

Checked out the austringer perks combinations .. have to say after seeing what spare rations could drop with austringer perks are a letdown .. it'll be outlaw rampage again .. such a cool looking handcannon wish it had new damage perks or swashbuckler something like that .. it only has rampage .. hope maybe there some hidden perks that doesnt show up on light gg .. cause I've had very bad luck with getting spare rations to when drop

I bet there is a step somewhere they forgot to disable the dismantling and I will be able to get rid of this shit from species deserving genocide for the actions of their spawn. Praise the traveller. Really like opulence far as the menagarie and the raid but there's alot of stuff brought back from d1 the 3 exotic armor pieces are brought back .. hardly any buffs to go with all the nerfs .. I was hoping reckoning would get a buff to drops .. I'm not a fan of the new pursuits tab .. or the new eververse fixed rolls on armor pieces suck everything costs silver .. and the leveling system playing all the old content with old gear is getting really boring .. same ole strikes for the same world loot pool gear ... Power leveling in this game to get to the content is not fun .. don't mind leveling up to get there but the same content no updates to any of strike or nightfall loot no vendor refreshes is getting really old ..
