Revelry Orb Generation - Disabled in Raids, Gambit, Gambit Prime, and Comp
Hey all,
We’ve been tracking an issue where [b]Guitar[/b] errors were appearing frequently in Raids, Gambit, and Gambit Prime since the Revelry event went live. Through our investigation, we’ve found that Orb generation off of precision kills, specific to Revelry, are causing these errors.
Effective immediately, we’re disabling precision Orb generation for these activities for the remainder of the event. Additionally, we will be disabling this functionality in Competitive Crucible. While we are unable to disable the effects of Tonic buffs, we have the ability to disable Orb generation which has been a topic of feedback since Revelry went live.
Triumphs and Bounties associated with Revelry orb generation may be completed in Quickplay Crucible playlists, Strikes, Patrols, Black Armory Forges, and the Verdant Forest.

3 RepliesLiterrally minutes ago failed Petra's run cuz of guitar. We knew it was occurring but we tried to prevent it. Picked up all ammo and orbs in vault, didn't use masterworks weapons in queens walk and tried to kill as little enemies as possible still we got guitared. Thanks bungo for the fix but :C.

I guess I will not be completing your event (which is entirely disappointing) - I refuse to set foot back into your crucible and it WAS possible to get orbs generated by playing old gambit for 1 of the necessary triumphs to complete. Before I jump to any further conclusions - will you be opening up that specific triumph to include another area instead since you are removing Gambit from it? Edit: you mentioned completions from Patrols - no where on the original list was patrols that I am aware of and I re-read them to double check - typo on your part?

You can disable a built in feature but not a perk even tho you’ve done it before what a damn joke
