On a five ws in comp, I loaded in with one teammate. We were the better players and won a round of six, ending up with better overall statistics. However for obvious reasons we had no chance playing the objective.
If your teammates drop out at the start the game should either:
- Find you new teammates.
- Not take away a streak.
I could care less about the rank, but when my streak is taken I can no longer continue forward.
EDIT: If it were not to take you're streak, it would have to be when a non-fireteam member leaves.

I know the pain and I agree fully but a system like that would just beg to be exploited. If certain rules would be included (like if a random leaves it would not penaltize the other three, but if one from a fireteam leaves it would continue as normal - quick half-baked thought on it). I would also rather have much harsher penalties for people that do leave because they do it intentionally - you get kicked out of matchmaking between competitive games so there is no "ooops, forgot to back out" there. A harsher penalty for quitters is needed, like losing twice or three times as much Glory (in addition to getting a temporary ban if you do it too often) if you back out compared to staying in and losing.

Happened to me yesterday too it needs fixing

1 ReplyI upvoted but, would like to point out this could also be exploited. Your team is losing to a dominant team so, someone bails to save your streak or points.

7 RepliesEdited by Spooky_Ari: 4/15/2019 6:44:56 PMor have a team balance respawn system, that prevents a player on the team with the extra player(s) from spawning until one of their teammates dies, they get respawned and now the player who was recently defeated gets a "Finding Spawn Location" notification. This would mean that any game with a mismatched number of players, 3v4 2v4 etc would have equal players on the field at all times. This only activates after someone has been defeated, not on match start up so Countdown would have to remain mismatched, but everything else would be balanced. (this is only for Comp, not QP)

1 ReplyHow do we know that one of your team mates doesn't leave to prevent you from losing your streak if your in a losing game? Think McFly!!! I'd be happy with no one losing points if somebody "disappears", but the streaks would still be lost.

Yeah this suck, myself i ve lost count of the number of times i lost my winstreak just because of this problem, in 2 years it still persist, i don t understand how hard it is to implement a security measure to prevent losing glory for thoses situations😢
