Just asking For your personal Opinion

So I have made the switch to pc roughly two months ago and i was wondering whats up with my inconsistency in my aim like some games im golden hitting spot on and some days i cant hit a fat man in the ass with an ironing board. I also tend to get lost A LOT like if im play and shit gets real like theres multiple enemies i jump slide or turn and i lose track of wherever the hell i am lmfao... maybe its my sensitivity? Or my mouse i was wondering if you guys could help me narrow it down so i can improve my pc gameplay. Currently i use the scimtar pro rgb mouse(16000 dpi) im running about 10 sensitivity Im running 3 monitors all with 144 refresh rate. I would like to say im a decent player, i reached fabled my 2nd week of starting PC Also feel free to correct me if this is the wrong section to post in.

https://youtu.be/GRFWLJazYYo This is the method I, and I'd imagine many other people, used to find my "perfect" sensitivity. It's tedious but I can confirm that the sensitivity I got from this feels just right (and takes less time to warmup to each play session). You'll probably want to use a game other than destiny (CSGO) to do this so you can have decimal sensitivities then round up or down when you convert back to destiny Or Use 800 dpi and try out every destiny sens and pick your favorite (it won't feel 100% at first) I imagine you still have the same playstyle and general game sense you had on whatever platform you played on previously so that should come back to you once you get used to aiming and moving on PC. Also, .8 Ads sens allows for 1:1 ads to hip fire sensitivity so I'd recommend that as well (the default is ads sens is 1 I think)

  • Low Dpi and sense are best for fps on pc. The Bigger movement on your mouse the easier it is for musclememory. Atleast that's what most pros use.

  • Well, I have had that happen where I’m hitting amazing, and then next game my gun wants to go and leave.

  • could be lots of things. lag, latency, someone netcoding. other people i know are using no-miss aimbots at least some of the time in pvp. also, microsoft fixed a bug with the last update which killed performance in games including D2 and wouldnt say what it was. that makes me think it was a big BIG mistake on their part. I notice ubisoft is having to make a fix for laptops to make AC odyssey better - apparently this is because of some problem with their driver vs microsoft driver for graphics. ms updated their DXGI without ubisoft finding out before the game was released, and now laptops with an intel cpu and nvidia gpu have framerate issues. this is because their game doesnt talk to DXGI properly since ms changed it mid development. that makes me think one of the fixes in the last win 10 cumulative update was to put right a mistake ms made in the DXGI. the only info ms would say was that it should fix fps issues and mouse lag. so take your pick. it could be someone cheating. could be latency that comes and goes. or maybe ms is just useless at making all pcs fit for anything other than running windows 10, and maybe a web browser to do email, and another ms product if its enterprise version. ms do seem to forget that you own a pc to DO SOMETHING with it, rather than just to run Win 10 and go "OOOH i have win 10! now i dont need to do anything else on a pc, and i can go do manual labor someplace instead of productive work...' so my money is on blame ms!

  • “Hit a fat man in the ass with an ironing board” Well... that is certainly unique. I’ve never heard that one before. It’s awesome

  • I'm running 1300 dpi and 8 sens. I think your mouse is waaaaaaay to fast to be enjoyable. I'm gradually changing my sens up to adjust but yeah, whoa. Also as others have said, weapons do not feel the same on PC as they do on console. You'll get used to some different weapons.

  • i mean, you use what settings you want, but i think 10 sens and 16000 dpi is WAY too fast. Even if you added a zero by mistake and play 10 sens 1600 dpi that is still too much for most people’s liking. I play 5 sens 700 dpi and like it, you just have to have a very big mousepad to manage lower sens. Mine is the steelseries qck XL i think.

  • There isn't much if any aim assist on pc. Console has ridiculously strong aim assist to compensate for controllers. You just gotta get used to it and soon enough you will be slaying like a god.
