Why can we only carry 100,000?
I saved all my powerful gear for weeks, held onto my cores in anticipation of Iron Banner, infused most of my stuff and started getting some powerful drops from completing the bounties. Was about to infuse another thing and then ... wait — can’t infuse because ... I’m out of glimmer?!?! Come on, guys. This is ridiculous. Let us carry 200,000 glimmer.
EDIT: Or just uncap it, as others have even more wisely suggested. No reason to cap at 200K.
EDIT 2: To everyone saying just go see spider, no. Why should I have to buy currency with another currency when I should be able to amass all I can just by PLAYING THE FVCKING GAME? If glimmer was uncapped, I’d have close to a million, most likely.

1 ReplyThey should cap at 1 mill and make an emblem for it.
-
2 RepliesRemember 25k? I ‘member.
-
1 ReplyGlimmer should be unlimited, like Warframe If you play enough to stack a million glimmer, than what's the problem with letting players keep that much?
-
The fact that glimmer is capped at all is just stupid.
-
2 RepliesNo currency should have a cap. Imagine your bank telling you "sorry, you cant put any more money in your account until you spend it"
-
Spider helps, but honestly, I honestly think I beat the base game of destiny 2 without spending glimmer. I didn't know about infusions and sparrows and ships were locked behind beating the main campaign (And boy did THAT Irritate me) I only picked up the base game when they released it for free for that promotion a while back and I only started playing about 2 months ago. By then, Forsaken had been announced and it seemed like every forum post anywhere said the best and often only worthwhile use for glimmer was Spider. Honestly, I think that there need to be more that you can do with glimmer.

1 ReplyLol. I'm constantly broke. Crucible doesn't give you enough glimmer.
-
Honestly, no cap would be great.
-
2 RepliesThis should not even be considered. It’s not an issue. Just don’t infuse everything and buy everything. It is not difficult to get glimmer for free by doing stuff... anything.

Yeah this is stupid and annoying I’m with you man
-
1 ReplyI'm confused, glimmer is a non issue. So much of a non issue that I sometimes wonder why it's even a thing.
-
3 RepliesFlashback to when glimmer was capped in D1 to 20k

Edited by ALLtheHerobrines: 3/29/2019 10:09:28 PMYes, I want to buy that "The Bits" ghost from Spider for 999,999 glimmers. So raise the glimmer cap already!
-
Seems like most people (on the forums at least) hate the cores situation (i personally dont drop below 60 cores and 900 shards at any time) but go ahead and infuse 8 items and try masterworking .. Lemme know how far you get .. My guardian might look great but he's in section 8 housing w the low amount of glimmer

8 RepliesA waaaambulance has been called and will be with you shortly 👍
-
Make it 999,999. I wanna buy that poor Ghost from Spider! D:
-
What did the Glimmer Scouters says? It's....It's...It's over 9,000!
-
Especially since we get days where we cannot spend any glimmer with Spider!
-
Go check on the spider
-
Unless they uncap glimmer it won’t matter. If they raise the cap a little or even by another 100k they’ll just increase the price of everything just so you’ll keep grinding.
-
Very cheap from spider.
-
In dying light I was filthy rich!
-
Remember you can delete shaders to get currency back.
-
4 RepliesThey'd end up changing the rates if they did that. What's that? You wanna stockpile planetary sources? Well that's gunna cost ya. Who runs out of glimmer tho? It's so easy to get.

10 Replies100,000 is more then enough? Go to the Tangle shore and spend some down? You need to get a life if you keep maxing it out everyday.
