Automatically unlocks forges on other characters
I think they should make it to where if you unlock the other forges on one character it should automatically unlock them on your other 2 characters

13 RepliesI disagree. If you want to triple dip the forges every week or powerful rewards or for more chances a week for Le monarch or jotunn then guardians should have to put in the work.

I'm on the izanami forge, and man, I just stopped playing because I'm tired of being sent to do random bs, that are clearly just there to extend play time.

I agree did it on my warlock then cringed through it on my hunter. There is no way i will ever do it for my titan as the "missions" where just extended bounty's get 100 head shots or do this event then go back and do it again on heroic...Also i think if you do all this crap to unlock a forge you should be able to load into it from orbit as you already walked there about a 100 times.

As some one who has unlocked all of them on all three of my characters I agree. It was long and tedious, especially on my last one.

I somewhat agree. Personally I'd like to see us being given a one time offer. Something along the lines of "pay X amount of Y item to skip ahead" when you first start the quest, wherein Y would be black armory schematics or the amplifier thingies in this case. Basically you'd be proving you already did the work for that character you wish to skip ahead on. You'd also be skipping over any kind of rewards you'd acquire by playing through the questline "naturally" but in my opinion that would be a decent trade off.

Agree. Because if I wanna keep throwing balls at stuff I would just go play the Nokris Strike. Those green crystal things are just reskinned Forges.

As someone who grind all 3 for chances at Jotun i would be pissed if they now unlocked therm for free to people. If you want the rewards do the work

For all people disagree, the only problem here is not how much grind the quest want, it's the forge itself. I bet 90% of all you guys after unlock all on your main char will only do Bergusia forge for hunting jotunn and god roll stuff, no one will play the other 3 any more. Try to find matchmaking some one to do the right forge with you to complete the quest step is where this quest hurt.

The painfully long grind to open the last forge on all 3 characters isn’t worth it... like at all. It honestly should be account based BUT I know why it isn’t. It’s a powerful loot drop potential and if one character gets to unlock that potential for the other 2 it’s giving out “too much powerful gear” on one grind. I’m not a fan of it at all.

Completely agree. I literally deleted my other 2 characters cuz there is absolutely no chance I'm going through unlocking all the forges a second or 3rd time just for more chances to NOT get jotuun.

Even though I’ve opened them up on all three, the tediousness of the tasks has me agreeing that it should open up after one character is done it on an account.

Yes. Why has this not happened yet? Unlocking those forges was like having a bad Monday morning at work, but it lasted ten times as long and I had paid for it
