3 RepliesEdited by K1dP5ycho: 3/5/2019 3:37:10 PMIt was The Drifter. If you remember, the mission where you fight The Rifleman starts with you next to one of his sniper posts. There are ammo cases and stuff lying about next to the rifle. They belong to Tex Mechanica. Also, in a piece of Gambit lore where The Drifter is trying to bring Redrix and his friend over to play Gambit, you find out that The Drifter is storing a whole bunch of Tex Mechanica weapons. So, really, The Drifter almost framed us for the murder of Cayde. EDIT: HOLY SPICY RAMEN BRAINWAVE The Drifter was surprised at the end of The Draw questline. Because we got The Last Word, not Thorn. He. Was. Surprised. It's obvious! He was hoping to give us Thorn so that he could pin the murder on us!

5 RepliesFive bucks says they wrote this because they saw everyone getting triggered on the forums and didn’t want a revolution on their hands.

1 ReplyAs my titan walks up to the Tower postmaster, a friendly wave is noticed on my right and another guardian jogs up. "Hey man." "Hey. Been a while." "That it has. Was a little surprised you're here of all places. Aren't you gone for most months of the year?" "I'm making it a point to be a little closer to earth. Figure it would be a nice change of pace to see some fallen corpses as opposed to frozen hive..." "Well it will be nice to see you more often. Perhaps we could even go say hi to the people in the Last City once in a while." "I honestly don't like all the spotlight or pedal placement, but yes. It would be nice to see them more often. Speaking of which. Is it true about the rumors that Ikora hasn't been around as much lately?" "I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you. Between Earth patrols and crucible headhunting, I haven't had much time to check in here. The rumors about the Drifter are true though. He's definitely up to something. Expecting the news any day now..." "Well, I'm sure I'll be seeing you around. Who knows. Maybe I'll actually join you in the crucible sometime. You'll need to teach me the ropes though. I don't really like fighting other guardians." His eyes brighten up and he smiles. "I'll make sure you understand to use a different gun than that relic you have there *points at my FWC hand cannon, True Prophecy*" I laugh. "Sure. I use a lot of guns on a daily basis."

4 RepliesEdited by Alphard: 3/5/2019 12:58:17 AMThis is why I love Ikora. Warlock Vanguard FTW. Edit: Everyones comments are a little less pitch-forky today. Guess this narrative calmed a lot of people down. She found no evidence, but we all knew that. ✌

Nuff of us being used a guinea pigs. This company plays the appeasement game where they lure u back in the game with outstanding weapons and then they nerf once they have u.

1 Reply#Dmg04 , it's telling me my weekly bounties are completed (gateway between worlds and both of my black armory). Is this a known issue? I literally just got on..

I’ve played a bit and I’m loving the update, then again I’ve always enjoyed destiny from the first day of D1😀

All the making of a an all out Civil War : Guardians of Light vs Guardians of Darkness vs The Darkness #Destiny3
-
3 RepliesInteresting... I'm starting to think that these previews are here to add more wait to choice when the allegiance happens If you choose Drifter then you're supporting a man who killed Guardians without remorse and spies on vanguard operations But if you choose the vanguard then you're supporting the fanatics known as the praxic fire. Who constantly doubt information and are more then willing to execute anyone that disagrees with their views

1 ReplyUnless xur has been updated to sell forsaken exotics nope count me out of this crap.

Edited by Necrogen: 3/5/2019 5:32:09 PMWhat I'd like to clarify is that drifter explained that weapons of sorrow green light from guardians. It would be the same for anything that has light in it. The ghost exploding has nothing to do with the thorn bullet more so by where it was shot. bullets of sorrow drain light so that would mean if shot anywhere else the ghost would have just flopped to the ground and that would be it. but if a bullet of sorrow drains light from something why did it explode with light? With this light coming out, why didn't it revive cayde? We've seen ghosts revive guardians before and it looked no different this time around. I'd like to say that we need more information on how exactly bullets of sorrow interact with guardians who wield light. A thorn bullet? I would like to see the ghost itself and the bullet.

5 RepliesThis Thorn bullet thing is a bit weird... So Uldren and the Scorn only bought 1 bullet?? And the prison break even though was well planned, their back up plan to fight back the Vanguard was only 1 Thorn bullet.... I dont buy it. This plot twist of Cayde murderer seems made up just on last minute of SotD release
-
1 ReplyI would love all this if it were cutscenes in the game. It’s hard for me to find the desire to play and grind out guns with no real progression of story in these releases. Here’s hoping :)

Character: Says thing that's their opinion Everyone: BuNgIe StOp WiTh ThE sTuPiD lOrE Seriously people, it was an interesting point to explore.

2 RepliesEdited by CaptainMericah: 3/5/2019 2:14:39 AMI think the suspense could’ve been ridden out more on this one. Yesterday: “The Guardian might have been an accomplice in Cayde’s murder!!! Today: “Naaahhh that guy seems pretty alright to me.”
-
I don’t get this. If only a “thorn” bullet can kill ghosts then how come there are some many dead ghosts? The rifleman has killed more than one ghost, so does that mean he had a “thorn” bullet for every shot? And any other dead ghosts died from one of those bullets? Maybe I’m reading this wrong?
-
12 RepliesThis would be amazing, if it was in the game. Between grimoire, comics and now forum posts, you really will try anything to not include the story of the game in the game.
-
so is this how we are getting all our story from now on?
-
Edited by SGT Bronson: 3/5/2019 3:41:11 PMThis still doesn't make sense. The barons had killed dozens of ghosts. So has the spider. It clearly doesn't take that much prep time to shoot one. Half of the ghost stories lore book is about how Fragile ghosts are and that they need constant protection. This seems to totally invalidate that.
-
1 ReplyHa. I love that the last 2 made the Drifter all sneaky and spy-like but no one is falling for it. Much needed humor since cayde died
-
Sounds like a Civil War may be brewing and our guardian may have to make a choice. I like it.
