... is one of the biggest mistakes that Bungie could have made. They obviously dont listen to the community or play the game themselves. They actually think, that bringing back Trials in its D1 form would be a bad idea. There is no pvp content. Pvp players and streams kept D1 alive, because the pve content got stale. This is impossible in D2 due to no pvp content therefore the gane will die soon. New pve content can only trigger attention for a short amount of time, while pvp last way longer. I dont get how the "professional" workers at Bungie dont see this. I am sorry, but this game doesn't deserve better, when even the developers don't care about their own game.

How so when a lot of the focus and player base is pve and a lot of people bitch about pvp not only having to play it but the one who play it bitch how un fair and un balanced it is you really want to add the already thousands of problems they have to trials? To me trials either need to stay retired till d3 or make it how it was in d1 and work on the perfect version for d3 Tbh they in general need to focus on the quality of the game and how much content they actually have before adding a once a week salty bitch fest back with rewards only a small portion of the community cares to go for when majority of players are pve Asking for trials rn in the state where everything is "unfair" or "broken" and only a fraction of players want it is asking for only the minority to be focused on because forum will be flooded with more pvp that they will have to focus on that instead of quality of the game and overall interaction outside of pvp which once again is not where their main player base is let alone a frustrated and drifting player base is. Before you say pvp is the majority first off think again where are all skill levels at where are non dlc players at and dlc players at where are the people who want levels or more rewards at? Lastly and the most important if pvp is the most important and majority of players why is there no MLG league bungie doesn't have to be the host of those tournaments where is it name the best players in the game bet they pve as much as they pvp meaning pvp is not their priority it's maintaining the bigger player base they have which is pve

2 RepliesTrials was the reason they ruined this game! They introduced the double primaries, they nerfed the skill tree and so much more nerfs, all because of trials and their crybabies. Still, I would like to see it back. But if Bungie would bring it back, they need to ignore all the whine-nerf posts. If not, they ruin the game even more...

1 ReplyThis sucks Bungie did you know there are other games coming out to take everything. Bring back trials of Osiris. Don’t listen to the pussies crying about pvp they can go play anthem or some other bs
-
15 RepliesIt's fun to see people who like trials not coming back. Shows who the bad pve mains are 😂 They suck at crucible and cry about PvP exotic steps
-
1 ReplyAgreed! I'm trying to get anyone and everyone I can to make noise about this. We need to unite to let Bungie know we don't agree. #bringtrialsback
-
14 RepliesThank God. trials of the nine was a shitshow and if you defend it you definitely are blind as hell.
salt incoming
-
42 RepliesDo you really think they are prepared to see the floods of nerf posts because of trials? That's all that happens. Then pve suffers.
-
36 RepliesThank goodness! Hopefully that means bungie is focusing on making pve better bc clearly trials and pvp did not keep d1 alive. However I still see borderlands 2 on twitch come up a lot, maybe games do not need pvp to stay alive. They just need to figure out what they want to be then do a damn good job executing it instead of trying to please every gamer go after a certain type and do it right bc what we have now is a mixed matched game that has everything but isn’t good at anything.

67 RepliesPersonally I hope trials never comes back matter of fact I wouldn’t mind them removing PVP from the game.
-
Good riddance.
-
22 RepliesGood, looks like we are one step closer to getting rid of PvP all together. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I love it!
-
Glad it’s not coming back anytime soon
-
3 RepliesYippee, and remove all other pvp while you are at it.
-
2 RepliesKill PvP already!

.Trials not coming soon ...
Good Riddance to the cancerous rubbish known as Trials!

Good I hope it remains dead and never comes back

2 RepliesEdited by og-ed-c: 2/17/2019 12:56:20 AMTrials isn't coming back because they ARE listening. As of now, it would be in a very bad place with all the lunas and not forgotten running around. You can disagree but i'm talking about Destiny for the masses so the player base stays healthy. No one who jumps in just to farm Trials coins is going to want to get matched with a 4 stack of lunas and NF to get steam rolled. If you think making the top 5% of the player base happy with trials coming back I don't know what to tell you. This game is already hemorrhaging players. It's 2019 in my mind 4v4 isn't going to cut it. If you think 6v6 won't work then some of you never played SOCOM back in the day. No radar no revives, just you your gun game, and your team mates call outs. Edit: I'm not hating on trials, if/when it does release everyone needs to be on equal footing. Maybe if Hawkmoon does release, that will be the medicine for lunas/NF. If not the event will be dead in the water.

4 RepliesDon't see how it's a mistake when hardly anyone liked it or played it. It was a terrible slow and boring pvp experience.

18 RepliesEdited by SnakePayne86: 2/16/2019 4:03:37 AMI don’t like trials because it lets nerds and sweaty neck beards feel good about themselves for winning when nerds and neck beards should never feel good about themselves. Like those streamers, dorks in real life, all of the sudden they’re like heroes for being good at trials.its not cool.

Edited by xKCz: 2/17/2019 5:57:52 PMI wouldn't bother playing this game if there was no pvp in all honesty. That's what keeps me away from games like Anthem really. The only reason I'm grinding for gear, is so I can take it into the crucible. Being able to kill AI a lil bit more efficiently isn't something that I strive for, or excites me. I mean, I don't hate PvE, quite the opposite in fact, but once I've done it once or twice, I'm kind of over it. :( ToO was really popular in D1 for a long time, and I met a lot of cool people through it. Decent activity that most could get into, and wasn't nearly as sweaty as comp in d2 imo. Bungie seem determined to reinvent the wheel though, and I'm not sure that's the right strategy. If they brought out some new maps/guns and ToO in it's full glory, I'd happily drop £50 on it, as would most of my friends I'm sure. As it stands, I'll check out the DLC to come, but I'm certain there won't be enough to warrent any sustained attention unfortunately. I'll have to look towards Division 2 and other games while waitin on Bungie to get things in order.

Have you compared present d2 player count stats to d1 Stats for the same month?
-
They said it would be out a season while they made improvements... well now two seasons later and it's still not back ...
-
I dont play trials (cause I suck) but IMO bungie should bring it back and the reward should be nice armour and shit weapons
-
People want trials gone but don't play it? It literally segregates the Sweats from the Scrubs. So really would make the pvp not have that many sweats or that often. It's literal sweat city and for what, higher elo?

Edited by ScottF 2112: 2/16/2019 7:12:06 PMAt least admitted that they don't have competitive PVP figured out and are trying to improve it
