RNG in Titles and Seals, stupid....

1 ReplyNo two tailed fox. But for the hours played.... RNG sucks.

Activision, Bungie, bungievision if you like.

The sound Desticles make when they realize their flawless masterpiece they have been worshipping for so long, has a tiny sminy smoodge on it. its a mixture of eye bleeding worthy incessant reads and Mountain Dew fueled forum rage, almost always ended in the sentence... "I am leaving this game"

The only complaints I currently have with this game are the long load times, the requirement of enhancement cores for infusion(just make it one enhancement core per infusion) and the annoying quests quests you have to do to forge a new gun. Also the exploder shanks on Gofannan. -blam!- them.

1 ReplyThe lack of control over what loot you can pursue. I've been searching for a good Twilight Oath or Sleepless, but all I get from Dreaming City are armour pieces or Tigerspites.
-
3 RepliesOkay, her we go: - cores required for infusion - year 1 gear being obsolete due to no random rolls - perks on exotic armour not matching what the exotic actually does (War Rig without auto rifle perks f.e.) - no possible way to reroll perks on guns and armour - no possible way to select either guns or armour as reward from engrams - aside from a few quests, everything is RNG and no way to put the odds in your favour - virtually impossible to create a personal load out (see RNG, perks & cores remark for reasons why) - can only forge guns and not armour in the forges - can not change between mobile, heavy or restorative on armour (often resulting in wearing ugly armour combos just because of the stats and/or perks on them) - no transmogs for armour - mod components - bounties not selectable from orbit or in a single location - planetary vendors selling obsolete year 1 gear - boss OP stomp mechanic sending you flying off the map (resulting in kill) - shield boop for exact same reason => lazy excuse for an enemy "ability" - bounties being counterproductive towards the objective of the game mode - matchmaking in PVP - ballistics logs gone on reset - capped items (modulus reports, ghost fragments, ...) - shader system - no way to recover a mod unless dismantling the item (even with infusion it doesn't carry over) - lackluster supers & class imbalance - lack of matchmaking for EP, BW, Nightfall, Raids (and don't get me started on EP weapons drop chances) That about sums it up

5 RepliesNothing to do. Nothing worth while to chase after, because exotic drops are non existent and everything else is worthless.
-
2 RepliesGame after Forsaken is ended. All we have now, besides pvp, are fake, empty, time consuming activities. For nothing. Ok, we can forge weapons, but for what? Only newbies and addicted can be happy.

Pvp balance complaints affecting the actual game.

After uninstalling the game, unknown to me, it re-downloaded in the background while I was playing Spiderman.

Time-gating as a way to stretch player interest rather than make an engaging game to stretch player interest.

Lack of weapons and weapon variations. Crucible quartermaster, vanguard, dead orbit, new monarchy and future war cult had new weapons it seemed on the reg to grind for. I mean when D2 came out I kinda hated it cuz it seemed the casuals took over but it’s gotten better now shotguns and snipers aren’t heavy weapons anymore and machine guns are back. Oh and I hate exotic quests, get rid of them. Make it random drops again, makes it so much better and rewarding when you got the gun you were wanting. Sidearms and submachine guns and grenade launchers are still pretty lame. Just please don’t ruin Thorn or The Last Word when they come back Bungie.

Edited by BuckshotBarnes: 1/5/2019 5:06:50 AMMountaintop medals. 100% for finals blows, but 14% for the other two... hate being forced to play the way bungie wants me too as I don't really like using grenade launchers anymore. Used play of the game at the very beginning of D2 but it's not the same now

1 ReplyTo be honest,The fact that there is not enough new loot when a new season starts.Shaxx and Zavala usually always get new gear or ornaments(except for this season) while the planetry vendors only have the same gear since the game or their respective expansions launched not even year 2 versions with random rolls. The second thing is that activities like Blind well,Shattered throne and strikes(except Nightfall which is crap only 1 thing per strike and sometimes not a good item) don't have their own specific loot to get.Oh and also I like some armour sets but there is no really cool looking armour,Even the raid armour sets look like something you could get just from an engran you pick up.

Certainly not these forums..love these

PVP is straight garbage... Lag, algorithm, lop sided matches, balance of weapons, the list goes on and on.... PVP has never been so random in the last 4 years, IMO of course...
-
cheating in crucible, allowing people with shit internet to ruin a match, same things that never change

Edited by The Hermit IX: 1/5/2019 6:42:18 AMLove the game and I play it all the time but I dislike these two elements of the game. 1) The way they inflate the time to do something simple with extra steps that make zero sense, waste time and show a complete lack of respect toward a gamers invested time and experience. From extra trips to the tower, or having to follow 3 different steps, doing multiple activities to get a single enhancement core. The game is better than that and they don’t need inflated loading times and guardians chasing their tails for nonsense. It’s in many aspects of the game and should be cut down so the focus is actually playing the game, instead of preparing to be at peak for for a month and starting all over. 2) Nerfing... taking something away from a product thats paid for isn’t a successful business model in any way, shape or form. IMO it’s a very lazy way to deal with issues and creates more issues than it ever solves. It also waters the game down and makes it boring. I like feeling powerful and killing things indiscriminately as I choose with what I choose. Not force fed meta due to destroying powerful things in the game through nerfs so others don’t seem so bad after the fact.
