Team-based vote, so a group of solos don't have to be slaughtered for six rounds by a four stack before they can get on with their day.

3 RepliesHonestly I think Glory gains/losses should be weighted depending on how big your fireteam is, and how big your opponent's fireteam is. Assuming you're facing a team of four: Solo - Gain a large amount for a win, lose a small amount for a loss. Duo - Gain a moderately larger amount for a win, lose a moderately smaller amount for a loss. Trio - Gain a slightly larger amount for a win, lose a slightly smaller amount for a loss. Four - No changes. I'm fairly certain that DTR calculates ELO with these factors in mind, so I don't see why Glory couldn't be calculated this way as well.

5 RepliesSurrender is for the weak, if someone joins a battle they should be expected to fight to the end, unless you’re French.

No. Part of the solo experience is going through the humiliation of getting -blam!- every other match.

2 RepliesWhile I can understand this request, I'd argue that there are some better solutions. For example: - Fix the matchmaking system so that the teams are more even. 4-stack or not, if all eight players in the game are of the same relative skill level then it will be a decent game, even if the 4 stack has a communication advantage. - Fix the matchmaking system so that networking errors that aren't on the user end don't penalize the player and the team that loses as a result. When the game returns an error and then penalizes the player for it in a system that penalizes losses, it's an issue. - Fix the net code so players who get errors like those above can rejoin the game. The goal of any matchmaking system I've seen is to keep the player at around a 50% win percentage, if the player consistently performs better than 50% then they get matched against harder opponents, if they perform worse then they get matched against easier opponents as the system tries to find that balance of around 50%. This means that you climb by improving as you steadily start performing better than you have been. Bungie's matchmaking system, in my observation, has no such inherent balance. I've seen players get matched with teams that are completely out of league either way below them or way above them on a regular basis and the scale seems to tip more and more depending on the streak you're on.

A solo team shouldn’t have to play a 4-stack if Bungie had any -blam!-ing sense.

There is no glory in surrendering fool!

12 RepliesEdited by Technohydra: 12/13/2018 8:44:10 PMIf you get paired against a stack, and they start steamrolling, do the things that don't play in to the pub-stomp lifestyle. Go away from where everyone is. If someone approaches on radar, and you can see they are coming at you, keep stringing them along on a merry jaunt; occasionally emote at a corner and see if they are getting strung apart. If so, maybe turn and put shots or a grenade on them, then continue skipping through the meadow. Sneak in on the heavy, then jump off a cliff. Collect all the loose special and do the same. Camp heavy with a shutdown super, just so you can do this more.be that dick with a 150 scout peaking on a prime lane, heavy, OBJ, what have you. Kill and or annoy as many as possible before they get into pulse or shotgun range, then skip through the meadow with them again. Repeat as needed. Bag, dance, and emote on any of them you manage to kill, just to get in their head. In general, if you're in for a miserable game, and it's obvious you just cant win, make it such a chore for them to score points on you that they get pissed and make mistakes. Don't bail and take a penalty or just give in, fight their friends list with pure, unadulterated annoyance, unnecessary complications, trolling, and generally making it take as long as possible. Bonus points if everyone else on your team bails, and you can play solo keep-away with them. With a nightstalker and Graviton, you can make this go to time limit and not give up much or any points. Make them earn it.

1 Replyit would be good in crucible and gambit. nothing worse than gambit being 4-1 and they still invade to kill the solo guy
-
No. Stick it out. If you're too trash to be in comp, don't play.
-
Never surrender lol
-
agree bungie wastes players' precious free time with a cavalier attitude
-
Combo breaker!
-
Make it in Gambit too so I can get my 40 games done quicker and not play that mode any more.
-
I never surrender. I will always go out in a blaze of glory. Surrender is not an option for the Red Dragon of Domination

i would agree, but then this happened. 3 v 4 (as usual that day, for some reason). then a guy left making it 2 v 4. so i think 'ah -blam!- this, hide and go make a smoke. then i come back and my guy is almost level with the 4 stack. so i decide to start playing again and together we just beat them. guy was called Luna or something like that, he had some mad skills. i guess every time he encountered the 4 he took a couple out before dying. he was like the predator :P

Bungie isn't capable of using brain. Lets be fair they dont even have brains. But it's alright, fangirls give them money for every shitpile they deliver.

Good idea. It would help keep people from leaving.
