The Gofannon Sniper Frame is removed from inventory on Volundr Forge completion, without reward
Had picked up a Machine Gun Frame from Ada-1 and completed those steps while working on the new quest-line to unlock the Gofannon Forge.
Machine Gun Frame was on the "Complete Volundr Forge Ignition" step and I finished the Gofannon Forge quest-line, killing the Servitor boss and obtaining the Radiant Sniper Rifle Frame. I had both in my inventory simultaneously, which I thought was odd since Ada says you can only hold one at a time.
Completed Volundr Forge to finish the Machine Gun Frame and obtained the Hammerhead. Then noticed the Sniper Rifle Frame had vanished from my inventory, seemingly removed at the same time as the Machine Gun Frame. Tried logging out and switching characters; nothing in postmaster; no rewards from it at all, it simply vanished.
Just finished the Gofannon Forge to check if the frame had gone invisible, but did not get the reward from the frame afterward, so it's totally gone.
So: DO NOT have a completed Weapon Frame in your inventory when finishing the Gofannon Forge quest.

1 Reply4/12 The same thing happened to me a while back on my first run of the Gofannon forge, but I'm pretty sure I did not have any other weapon frames in my inventory, just some ballistic logs and maybe a weekly bounty from Ada-1. Considering that this has been going on since December, at this point they should give anyone who has completed at least one run of Gofannon and has started the quest for Izanami should just automatically get Tartara Gaze the next time they talk to Ada-1, to compensate for how freaking long it's taking them to fix the stupid bug.

3/25 and this happened to me and I had completed Gofannon with the Hammerhead (after completing). I saw the bounty for the sniper frame update, but after turning off the machine it was gone. There has to be a way to get it back - and should be able to be fixed!

This has happened to me also. Is there going to be a fix? Can you (bungie) not just send everyone with the Gofannon Forge unlocked the sniper rifle frame? I feel as though I am at a loss with the game now and through my short period of playing destiny 2 my interest in this game has quickly started to diminish. Any recent word?

Assuming it won't just disappear again ofc. Better make it a finished 650 weapon with good rolls too, I hear killclip is the thing. And it was the only powerful frame I had then. Was gone after logging in the next day

The sniper rifle frame, disappeared on me As well. Am I ever gonna get it back? What happens now? I guess it’s time to pre order division 2.

I have the same issue, but it disapeared from my inventory after the server restarted due to maintnance. I also had a bug with the sniper rifle frame, the either essence wasn't dropping from fallens on nessus, and after that poof the frame was gone

Lost my Sniper frame after completing a Volundr forge for an Auto rifle frame. Sucks and I can't get the quest tor drop again to re-start it for the sniper again. Also completed a Gofannon forge to see if i'd get a new frame and nothing ... Bungie please help !!!

Same thing happened to me, was helping a friend do his Volundr forge with the sniper frame in my inventory. We did not complete the forge. Then I go do the Gofannon and complete it and thats when I noticed I no longer had the sniper frame.. Not gonna lie a little mad.
