This is the Worst DLC launch yet....
The horde mode is the only thing new (other than the raid which isn’t out yet) and you can’t even complete it, and move to the next quest step, until you’re 615? So this first week we are just doing the same stuff we have been doing for months already! Theres nothing new!! Can’t even get anything from the new vendor.
update: They made it easier. Just took a while and lots of tries with terrible random teammates. But finally completed it at 607. I’m now 615 with two Hammerheads and the auto rifle. Now doing the quest where you have to do patrols, adventures, strikes, etc, with Forge weapon equipped for powerful engram. It’s actually not as bad once you finally beat the forge the first time. It also really helps having good teammates who know what they’re doing.
Update: now 622 and at the second forge. I like it a lot better than I did the first day.

4 RepliesSo are we forgetting about Curse of Osiris?? That was the worst. Furthermore, not of all the content for this DLC is out so how can you have a proper opinion? Even those of us who are 600 still struggle greatly. I haven't even completed wave one. It is a challenge a good one. Don't forget, when EP started, barely anyone could touch it without getting obliterated. I understand the lower light level argument but if they were to tailor the game to those who just picked up and not the hobby players who have been here since launch or even beta, they truly would lose every player. The games had its ups and downs, a lot of downs tbh, but at least with this, were progressing towards new weapons that could be great and even if they're not most of your hobby players won't complain since they just got more gameplay. As for those who keep complaining about another horde mode, remember how we kept wanting EP (a horde mode) and well (a horde more) to have matchmaking, well here you go. Don't complain because they literally provided something people were complaining about.

Why are people are still surprised the mini DLCs are shit? They always get 5/10, starting with The Dark Below But TDB had strikes and no timegated content, plus more exotics and a SANDBOX UPDATE The raid will be good, unless its bugged like Crota's End Mini DLCs should be free. Spam Eververse all you want for revenue yet people will still crucify BDobbins or anyone that says the truth lol
