All you haters out there got Ikellos nerfed. Now the energy slot has one less option.

Bungie stop catering to the hardcore raid players and leave the weapons alone for us pvp players. If you listen to all the pve players they will get all the good weapons nerfed! Edit: the fish are bighting today boys! Throw your bait in while the waters are still warm.

there were haters? or did it get foam-padded because it was equipped in a very large percentage of players energy slot more then any other weapon by a very large margin? perhaps it was done to force people to mix it up and use the new stuff they are coming out with in the next update

2 RepliesI use Badlander with Boss Spec and no problem, never behind vs Ikelos against Shuro Chi or Morgeth or whatever, in fact, with the update, I do more damage than my Ikelos fireteam lol hehehehe

I mean, the perk is gonna start dropping In other shotguns soo.. it's the same they did with box breathing, and explosive payload. They most likely had to nerf it a bit so it does not become a problem later. But tbch while I don't agree with nerfing it was about time that shotgun got touched, it was overused.

Fully agree cut the sh!t with the nerfs!! If some idiots want to make it harder and us their dusk rock blues to dps bosses let them if people want to use ikelos shotgun to melt boss let them stop nerfing Sh!t!!! So what bungie is saying is don't bother getting any awsome overpowered weapons in the new black armory dlc because we will be nerfing them!!! And the notforgoten and lunas are to powerful in pvp quick play so we should NERF them to!!! Bungie quit nerfing!!!!!!

Like I've said before, Ikelos is fine, rapid fire frame capable of insane dps by itself and now it has a little less, I was doing raid and everything with it, it's still the best special option, maybe now mercies and borealis, 2 EXOTICS, would finally be able to beat it

It was either nerf ikelos... Or buff another shotgun/special weapon to make it a viable choice as well. You know, pick a re-skin, wrap a towel around it(so you can tell it’s not the original, because they will still look that much alike) and then have to come up with another name... I’m exhausted, just nerf it. That’ll make it less effective and create the illusion of other guns being equal or more effective... even though the other guns haven’t changed. We call this the “nerf good gun=buff of all bad guns phycology” and the only work you have to do is on one gun! We don’t even have to hire someone to design a towel wrap!

They nerfed it because the perk will be available in other shotguns. Just like box breathing. Watch seraph rounds appear in other smgs and be nerfed as well

Im confused on why it was nerfed, except them realizing it was still broken in pve, would be surprised about it being because of pvp, like the telesto it so much more annoying

Is it really that bad? Their are a ton of other options in the secondary slot. It will bring some variety into the game.
