bungie fixed duplicate exotic drop rate!!!! BS BS BS
I have now gotten 6 exotics to drop since update and they are all duplicates. I have only gotten 1 random exotic from forsaken the queenbreaker. THATS IT. Furthermore since this supposed fix for duplicates I have gotten nothing but duplicates!!!!!!!!! While my friend has gotten all of the exotic weapons and now only needs 1 exotic the 1k voices.... BUNGIE DIDNT FIXED NOTHING

Lol didn't properly read patch notes just yells at screen. You still have a chance for Y1 exotics. You've just been unlucky.

I have gotten nothing but duplicates on multiple characters since the patch. I bought forsaken so I could play with forsaken gear. Why would I refer anyone to play this game? I've been playing since launch and I'm sure I've put my time in and deserve to play with the gear I paid for.

I have received 0 fordaken exotics before the update. But since the patch i got Black talon, cerebrus +1, and oathkeepers. Its just Rng unfortunately

I believe that new players are intentionally weighted to recieve exotics, every single new player i talk to says that exotics drop like candy on halloween, and they get a lot of new forsaken stuff too. But for those of us that already have all the year one stuff, we are intentionally weighted down to prevent us from getting the rest of the exotics, bungie unfortunately thinks that if they prevent us from getting new stuff that we will stick around for longer, but i’ve already seen people get frustrated with bungie and it’s sad, i’m sure that most will return but at their own peril as bungie has intentionally punished them for simply playing the game since it released. I honestly think the drop rate for exotics is great, IF they were guaranteed to be something you don’t already own, seriously.

And only two of them have been year 2. But that was before the "patch". Since the "patch", Ive gotten 4 more to drop... AND THEY WERE STILL YEAR 1! Bungie didnt do shit! I have recorded each exotic opening also.

It’s worked for me. I’ve gotten four new forsaken exotics this week, twice as many as I’ve gotten in all previous weeks since forsaken launched.

Random’s random. You contradict yourself too as you say you have gotten anything yourself yet your friends gotten tons of new exotics. One persons luck isn’t the same as another persons

I’ve gotten 5, 4 of which were new and the 5th was a y1 armor piece. Not everybody is going to have the same results but so far most have been getting the intended results. Consider yourself simply unlucky at the moment. That luck can change at any time.

Wow, I’ve only had 1 exotic drop since the update and have played every day. 6 exotics in a week is very good RNG. For the record. Mine was a duplicate as well.

Wouldn't know if it's fixed or not, haven't seen an exotic for so long I've forgotten what they look like. I get that Bungie wanted exotics to seem special when they drop but they need to drop to feel special, they've gone from one extreme to the other. Looking at the numerous comments on the forum they need to fix this asap. People want to have a reason to play and rewards are part of that reason.
