Seriously, look at the stats. Shotguns have a higher percentage of kills than other weapon type by a large amount. How is this fine?

Switching to a shotgun should stay the same but switching out of one should be punishing to the user. That way the apes are putting themselves at risk running around with one in hand all game. They won't be able to switch to their primaries fast enough if they whiff. Just like snipers are usually screwed if they don't shoot first or get disengage fast enough.

Its because primarys dont have a fast enough time to kill, if you compare destinys shotguns range to other games, the weapon is not even close to being good.

Anytime you have a weapon that is capable of 1 shot kills it immediately becomes the go to weapon of 90% of crucible players. There will never be a truly balanced crucible....

I don’t think they need a nerf but sidearms could do with a slight buff within the 10 meter mark.

You only get 2 bullets… I don't like it using shotguns… I do sometimes. It's the worse way to counter a shotgun imo. The best way is to go back while shooting at them and throwing stuff. And if they get close enough to kill you with the shotgun try and melee them… Most of the time I end up with a kill after I died thanks to a grenade the rest of the time they die to the grenade before killing me.

Bungie doesn’t learn from their mistakes. Destiny 1 saw shotguns nerfed until the very end. Yet they release the forsaken patch to put heavy weapons in power slot without remembering how terrible the shotgun metas were

It’s the range along with the slower TTK for other weapons, and speed of guardians to close the gap
