Ace of spades, Trust, Shotguns
You suck at game development
-
You think ace of spades and trust are the problem? That's funny
-
I agree. Crucible is trash.
-
1 ReplyYou know pvp isn’t the only thing in the game right?
-
1 ReplyBecause bungie devotes most of its resources to PvE the main content. PvP isn’t the whole games focus

2 RepliesRegardless of what they design, there will always be cult followings for specific weapons if enough people see them in the kill feed - because EVERYONE wants the gun that gives them an edge. I've seen not-that-powerful guns become the META, just because they were being over-used, and even at Destiny's MOST balanced (read: most bland and horrible) at D2 vanilla, there were endless complaints about Uriel's Gift and MIDA and Last Hope. No game developer can win this perception, especially not with people like you who continue to buy into the lie that just because the idiot masses flock to a specific gun, that gun must be over-powered somehow... Use them or learn to counter them. We're all terrified that the pendulum will swing back to where it was at D2 vanilla....

4 RepliesPvp was unbearable until forsaken dropped...

It's only trash if you are

2 RepliesCry some more.

10 RepliesPvP is fine right now. Best its been in a while. Hell its just a good if not better than Crucible was in House of Wolves. At this point it really is a get good situation. Im tired of seeing the mentality that because they're not performing well Crucible is automatically bad. Nothing ever pleases you guys anyways so there's 0 point in catering to some of you guys in the first place.

They should remove all scout and pulse because destiny is just Hand cannons

3 RepliesI remember back during the Crucible beta in D1. It was so -blam!-ing nice...the maps were properly sized for 6v6 and had really good flow. Abilities were rarely instant 1-shot kills aside from supers, and supers came out sporadically rather than all at -blam!-ing once. Heavy ammo didn't spawn until a couple minutes in to the match. Shotguns were power weapons as they should be, and the majority of all combat was done with your primary weapon rather than swapping between "kinetic" and "energy", and there was no rng trait rolling on weapons, which meant they all behaved relatively the same with some variation depending on the category. Crucible was about skill and teamwork then. Now it's just a spam fest of instant kills and team-wipes. It's just boring.

5 RepliesPvp is fine. Not flawless but still enjoyable.

6 RepliesWhat you really need is skill consideration in the matchmaking algorithm. There is currently zero in any playlist except for competitive and that’s light.

16 RepliesTo be honoust i think PVP is pretty balanced right now since there is no real meta besides the general categories hand cannon and pulse rifle. I see many different weapons like Ace of spades, Trust, Lunas howl, Graviton lance, Bygones, Go figure and lots of heavy weapons like cluster bomb rocket launchers, Sleeper simulant and the Colony. I also noticed bows coming up as a meta and shotguns have always been there. And yes, auto rifles, fusion rifles and scout rifles need a PVP buff but they arent that bad currently as many say.

1 ReplyEdited by Divinus: 10/15/2018 9:40:46 PMPvP is not trash. PvP is fun. While there are obviously guns and abilities that are more powerful than others, pretty much everything is usable and viable. Would you honestly rather go back to Destiny 2 Year 1 PvP where players only team shot with Graviton Lance and Vigilance Wing? Yikes. EDIT: Also, the reason why Shotguns are so popular, is because the maps are literally build for Shotguns. Most maps feature a lot of close quarter combat, so it's no surprise a gun, which can kill easily on close range, is used.

15 RepliesFuccking shotgun apes are rewarded for the no skill kill. Who decided this was a good idea

5 RepliesI actually liked having 2 primaries, all the game needed was better ttk for primaries which actually got released in forsaken. Thats all the game really needed, with how often heavy drops for players in crucible right now, having 2 primaries would have been perfect. Team-shooting wouldn’t be a thing either because primaries kill much faster now.

1 ReplyI'm all for the shotgun warriors having their gun of choice more often then whenever power spawns and only having a small chamce of getting ammo for it. However I don't think its fair that special ammo is dropped after every kill as it disincentivizes varied playstyles. Why use something else when your one button one shot gets constant ammo every time you kill. I think the crucible would be a bit healthier if they went back to a special economy like Y3 D1 with slightly shorter spawn times on special crates. Also having power spawn rigjt at the beginning of a match is super cancerous but one thing at a time.
-
D2 PvP maps suck with vague radar, too much heavy, weak grenades and primaries whilst facing ohk abilities, and wierd crossover with D1 and D2 sandbox

And accredit UDP Unicorn.

Bungie is trash. There, fixed it for ya 😁

4 RepliesEdited by Big Factoids: 10/14/2018 2:09:34 AMTry keeping range and using a mida. Run if you have to. Play like a pussy if you really have to. However, you can’t complain if other people are: 1. Luckier than you in their pellet rng in shotguns, shortstops are inherent to spread. It’s inevitable, It will happen to everyone. or 2. Better at close quarters in general. Only way to beat close quarters is mid to long range. Stuff like the militias birthright, fighting lion, fusions, pulses, scouts, luna’s howl/not forgotten, and snipers. There’s actually a lot of counters to playstyles. Don’t be so arrogant and think the wins are owed to you. In a perfectly even world you’d lose half your games and have a 1.0 If you don’t have the time to get better then you probably have something else that’s more worth chasing.

Bygones.

don't forget sleeper mate... this game is just terrible now
