Beyond Launch

In just mere days, Destiny 2: Forsaken will arrive, ushering in a host of new experiences and major upgrades aimed at transforming nearly every aspect of the game. We’ve already spoken a lot about Forsaken’s key features and updates, but we wanted to take a moment prior to launch to provide you with some additional details about what you can expect beyond day one. To tee up that conversation, we’ve recruited a handful of developers to take you through our plans, from the 2.0 update that went live today, through our current plans for seasons and the annual pass. [b]Seasons of Change[/b] Destiny 2: Forsaken kicks off the Season of the Outlaw. Once you’ve completed the campaign, hunted down the Barons, secured some of your favorite new weapons, and explored the new worlds and the challenges that await, you can expect to see us continue updating the game with new activities and rewards. We’ve also hidden away many surprises for you to discover, and the information and roadmap below aren’t intended to spoil them, but rather to give you a broad sense of what’s to come. After Season of the Outlaw concludes, each subsequent three-month Season will usher in a month-over-month roll out of new experiences, events, rewards, and activities, most of which will be available for free to every Destiny 2 player. [b]Annual Pass[/b] The Forsaken Annual Pass is different than the traditional post-launch Destiny expansions we’ve delivered in years past. Black Armory, Joker’s Wild and Penumbra will offer a range of different experiences that consist of new endgame activities and modes, discovery, and challenges that escalate, ebb, and flow over time, with each offering prestigious rewards. Annual Pass content will release throughout the year, working in concert with our free Seasons to help keep the world alive and fresh. Black Armory, Joker’s Wild, and Penumbra each deliver multiple beats that span the length of a given Season. We believe the overall experience will feel markedly different to Destiny players, in a really good way. Below is our first Forsaken-era post launch roadmap. It includes a short hit list of what you can expect in the coming weeks, and a look at what’s on tap in the months beyond. Once again, it’s not intended to spoil the surprises, but it should give you a good idea of our commitment to supporting Destiny 2 in Year 2.   • So my light level on my warlock is 555 and everything is pretty even except my warlock bond which is only light level 548. I’m wondering if i should risk wasting a bunch of weekly and daily mission to get a higher warlock bond, which would result in only +1 overall light level or should i do the higher stuff first and then do my weekly and daily missions to fix my jagged edges, what would benefit me more? I really need to know before the reset. Thanks ;)

    I'm curious, what's the point of having weekly activities if the content is irrelevant other than that. The loot drops way below everyone's level and there is not gear or weapons that bring you past 192 unless the raid offers that? the rewards are pointless in every single ativity if you didn't buy forsaken or did the same thing happen with forsaken and Bungie used only 1 big ole whopping activity on a plant just to say they added something to the game? I don't know what's going on with this company, but Bungie needs some major help in so many ways it's not funny anymore. The idea is to move forward, not backward's and most would figure after almost 12 years of this company working on Destiny they would figure this out by now.

  • Assendent challenge don't spawn chest. I done it yesterday for over 2 hours and nothing . Try everything and by the way I didn't die . Same for my clan mates . We try everything running that solo and with team . Chest at the end is not spawning. Can you tell me what wrong with it ? And if is a bug why you didn't posted something . Thank you

    • I can’t play this game anymore for a while 2 weeks straight stuck at the same power cause my powerful drops are the same or below what I have already apart from 1 chest piece I’m so f u c k I ng tired of it I’m legit struggling to play let me know if this ever changes

              • You should add modifiers to gambit. Like no radar or solar singe, grenadier, etc... but only 1 modifier a game.

Casual / inexperienced player join up and ask questions. Me or admins should be able to answer or assist you thru endgame activities. Some admins or myself may assist you thru regalur activities as well if needed. Use the chat on the app to organized fire teams for activities with other member online. ****I am also looking for competive/experience players in PVE/PVP to become admins. *** To be considered for admin roles: 1) RAIDS- COMPLETED a total of at least 10+ prestige raids (SoS, EoW, leviathan). And be able to guide new players thru each encounters 2) Nightfalls- have done at least 3 + nightfalls with over 100k points, again be able to guide new players thru each encounters 3) Pvp- be helpful, offer tips to new guardians. Admins will be a helpful resource to new/casual players in terms of leveling and learning older raids/assist In nightfall completions Also putting together an elite group of 555+ guardians to attempt all sections of the new Last wish - and other high level activities, do I hear HEROIC BLIND WELL PPL!                           • Gambit match making needs improvement. Im playing Gambit mostly solo. I was on a 4 win streak. Then the game sent me into a losing match that ended before i was able to load in. And my streak was gone. Why would you design the system like that? And i also suggest you finally offer us solo queues for Gambit, Quickplay and match making for Nightfalls. There have been plenty of posts about it. And many ppl ask for it.

                            • Could you please work on better matchmaking for blind well? Escalation protocol wasn't great with matchmaking either but my group could get 9 of us together. Please do something to allow us to replicate that process or even better, allow us to move in as a large fireteam if we all group up in orbit. My suggestion is maybe make the blind well a fast travel point, then allow for the possibility of private instances? Idk, any other suggestions?

                                  Here’s a helpful hint, if you have to patch the masterwork core and mod component exploit because people have to do it to keep up, the system itself sucks donkey dick. It’s hot garbage. Why do I need masterwork cores to infuse ? Are they infusion cores ? No
