Anyone else slightly bored of graviton and vigilance wing engagements?

1 ReplyPVP is just a big steaming mess of doodoo right now to be fair. Run about getting sniped by pulse and scout rifles as if they were actual sniper rifles, I find about 90% of the time you can't even react by the time you're dead because they're so far away and it's done in less than a second. Fun. Once one team starts to pull ahead, they just keep getting heavy ammo over and over again and nuking the other team. Why everyone thinks silly TTK times is a must for PVP is beyond me. In PVE yes, no one wants to feel lame - but in PVP all it does is remove any skill from it. 'Oh look, I just sniped someone with VW in 0.83 of a second from across the map, I has maaaaaad skillzzzzz' lol. I've played in D1 and D2 and don't think I've ever found PVP to be so little fun. I find the milestone a complete bore now and it's always the one I do last just cause I can't be be bothered with the mess of PVP.

2 RepliesI am finding the sheer lack of diversity in the crucible boring but then again, I’ve never enjoyed “playing the meta”. Atm my crucible load out consists of; The Agamid, Out of options and Sleeper simulant. It’s not amazing but I’m having a lot of fun with it. I’d be interested to know what everyone else is running that’s “off meta”.

1 ReplyAnyone that chose dead orbit and unlocked the graviton catalyst, you should know that you contributed to making pvp in this game take less skill, become more campy and laney, and overall make pvp worse. 50+% of you to be exact. Cry on the forums that pvp is bad and then you yourself contribute to the cancer. Graviton buff was the worst thing to happen to this game in a long time. Its so easy to sit back and get we ran out of medals with that gun its a joke.

5 RepliesI was doing rumble aganist my friends and they said I wasn't allowed to use Antiope, Acrius, Graviton Lance, Or a sniper. Keep in mind that they were all using these. So I used my masterworked Vigilance Wing, and thy told Me I couldn't use that... So I used Fighting lion and BD, Still doubled their kills and won. Point is, you don't have to use the meta, just master one weapon and you'll be good

Not the players fault, use the meta or get punished - it’s up to Bungie to buff some weapons to compete with the meta, who knows it’ll all change in the next expansion

I had more fun when 450 autos were the meta. Autos get a nerf and then you add guns in like GL & VW.

I don't challenge in lanes if i dont have a high impact scout, and i try to be either there or in hand cannon range so i can out strafe them and still not be in range of their antiope/last hope In fact i think antiope/last hope are whats really making graviton/vigilance seem so strong. Those weapons are so brutal up close that it forces you to play in really specific ranges to compete Anyway i think the 180 rpm handcannons and high mobility are a hard counter to the current meta. You have to pair them either with something close range and completely avoid lanes or pair it with a heavy scout and completely avoid close range
