I used to be super mad about everything but now I just feel kinda sad and I just want D2 to be good. Anyone else on the same page? Sorry for the low quality post I guess.
Edit: Obligatory generic edit referring to popularity. Really glad that the vast majority seems to agree with this sentiment though, judging by the forums I thought I was in the minority. Although I guess I should really know better by now lol

not really i enjoy it alot. i just hoped for it to expand on their ideas and have more intruiging content. pretty excited about the exotic weapon update
-
Ya know, I'll play whatever they put out really, but I'd like to see the reverse too of the current 'fast' mode. Only one time heavy, one chunk only, not two. Limit supers to only once a round for every player. MORE TTK time. (Not anything ridiculous) but for Longer battles. Every single life worth more idea.
-
I'm not so much mad anymore as I am disappointed. Before when there was some kind of update it was at least a bit exciting to see what was going to happen. Now every time I hear about one I just laugh and roll my eyes. Because it's not going to bring me or any or my group back to the game. Of course the main problem now is even if they try adding and fixing things it's just going to be people trying to go through the same boring stuff to get something that won't matter anyways.

2 RepliesI just want to have fun and I do. People expect Destiny to be this larger then life thing and its not.

I just looked at my watch and was wondering if mtashed saved D2 yet? Ah man, the guys a comedic genius!

I really think bungie has to address the issue of solo players not having a direct path to build endgame skills and a reliable in game ability to match up with players for endgame. Teams need to know that players is ready. Story, public’s and strikes where players can be carried isn’t enough to prepare players for endgame activities. Bungie really needs a hard endgame difficulty solo raid arena (raid like elements using ghost and mic maybe)that gives gear to help in the raid and unlocks an unlimited raid and nightfall matchmaking system(mic needed). Not to gain light for cap just to get players abilities where they need to be for endgame and allows teams to know that the player is ready for end game. 6 player raids should give gear that has perks for the next raid adventure. I mean who wants to collect all the gear for a raid that once you have all the gear there is no point in playing that raid. Public events and adventures could give gear that helps in strikes. Heroic Strikes could give gear with perks that help in the arena or whatever else Bungie has planned. A ladder loot system with each activity gearing the player up for the next endgame adventure. Those perks could unlock to be seen completely(maybe a small teaser)when the DLCs drop to avoid spoilers to new enemies or mechanics. This would really be an in game path to connect solo players with new clans/friends and as a result have a less divided community. Multiple clans up to 3 would also help a lot. Maybe only the primary clan has rewards and clan rep attached to it. Bungie you can do better than LFG/guided Games that does nothing to get players ready and to show teams they are ready for endgame.

1 ReplyDestiny doesn't even have enough content for someone who plays 3 hours a week.
-
Destiny 1 i played everyday. Even during boring house of wolfs repetative bs. Destiny 1 i had around 400 hours... destiny 2 is so dead.... un appealing. Waste of money. I cant explain myself i always loved the lore and gameplay and community. Sorry but its all trash now. Gutted
-
I do really wish it was good. I loved D1 and played it to death, and I still play it sometimes now. Mostly on a Friday/Saturday night with some beers. I only played D2 for 20ish hours. It has just lost something for me in D2.

1 ReplyEdited by hunting the void: 4/19/2018 2:49:25 PMI want Red Redemption 2 to be good. I want Battlefield 5 to be good. I already know God of War is good supposedly. Destiny 2 has had 7 months to try to be good and isn't that enough to just be like whatever? Bungo had their chance... They done F'ed it up royally!

Best thing is to close it down and start using D1. Atleast it's a decent start and was fun

The first post I’ve seen where people aren’t bashing your opinion on the game which turns out not to be an opinion but a very obvious fact. This game is a failure. As much as I want to see it succeed like destiny 1 I fear it won’t come close to it.

I remember the good ol' days. When gaming was a passion business. Now it just seems to be business.
-
14 RepliesHonestly I hope it fails. Bungie will serve as an example of what not to do to a game.
-
D2 should have been good to begin with. This 6 months in to get it right bullshit sucks.

2 RepliesIt will never be good until they realize an emblem for grinding 30 games of iron banner with all the lag is not good end game content.
-
And after you suffer through this slog of improvements just imagine if/when Bungie does this all over again for D3! You'll get another reimagining, another season pass selling with base game and lots of, "we're listening."
-
1 ReplyIt will never be good when they give you only an emblem for grinding 30 games of iron banner!!!! I mean seriously they have to be trolling us LOL
-
I believe Destiny 2 could end up being alright. But honestly at this point its best case scenario is being a fully functional Frankenstein. So much patching and bug fixes, and overall unmatching content additions. The core that was given to the live team was so terrible, that they will spend the whole life cycle just trying to figure it out. If they want D3 to be better than they need to listen to feedback the live team is currently experiencing and collaborate with the live team on D3.

1 ReplyI want this game to live on and I refuse to let it die. This game was my life for the last 3 years and was the only game that kept me playing throughout its driest period, I stood by it, I got my friends into it. and if it dies I will lose the game that had got me into video games entirely.
-
I do miss the group chats and everyone teaming up on reset to run NF, Raids I only had 1 character because of the jump mechanics with others but I didn’t care about running them again with friends to get them there multiple characters done aswell. People asked in D2 and I’d just say sorry go to the app I’m not doing this again never got that seem feeling even on reset could be bothered half the time with NF’s.

Solid game and gameplay. They only need content to keep us playing. Can't have a loot based game. Well, without loads of loot(meaningful loot). Just need options in the game, that comes from a diverse loot system. Gotta get back them WOW factors like the Chaperone and harder to get exotics. Kickass looking armor would be nice too

1 ReplyI dont. Went back to d1. Feel its too late to come back at this point. Will wait for complete reboot. D3
