30 engram limit for faction rally is crap. Anyone agree?
First rally I went with Dead Orbit and hit the limit and never got a full armour set. Am missing the chest and legs but got all the guns. This rally I went with New Monarchy and got all the armour except the arms and hit the cap already. Also got the new scout and hand cannon but no new sniper. What I did get was a bunch of multiple helmets, cloaks and boots and guns and even guns and armour that has nothing to do with the faction. Bungie needs to get rid of the limit because rng sucks so bad that you aren't guaranteed to get a full set and they also need to take out non faction rewards.

Lucky for me I got the full fwc set armor and guns. Chest dropped like in the last 5 I was getting sad.

Yep its trash! I turned in 400 something token and got the same 2 pieces of armor over and over!!!!!!

if it was a gauranteed weapon with each drop it would be fine, but considering you may get jack shit and they are going to limit your engrams? that sucks

Bring reputation back with solid faction rewards, could make planet resources more valuable as well when turned in for reputation.

If I could get the items I want in those said 30 engrams it wouldn't be an issue for me. But getting the same items over and over and over, it is quite ridiculous.

They should at least make the guns you didn't get out of them buyable after you've reached the limit I hate the fact that I'll never get another chance at that new monarchy sidearm now

I think they will adjust the system to match what they are planning on iron banner for season 2. Where you can buy a couple peices gurenteed but that is in the future. It is what it is and I like the 30 cap. This is after all a competition.

Either Bungie doesn't want everyone to be able to complete the full set or they just don't understand RNG. But if the first one is the case, why would they purposely let people not complete sets and then remove the items with the new season? (maybe they come back in the 3rd season?) But not only that, why come out and say the game is now about collections when you can't complete the set? Anyways, the average amount of attempts it takes to get a 12 item set through pure RNG odds is 37.24. Makes no sense, right? The only way I can see this working at all is if in the long term everything will be repeated. But then we need to hold on to all these partial sets, in our 200 slot vault? Every way you go it just looks like poor planning was done.

Edited by Gajintao: 11/8/2017 6:52:08 PMAlso just noticed as I turned in my last DO tokens that only 7 of the 9 (10 would be counting the prize weapon) potential rewards are active during any given turn, so make sure you check that preview engram before you get six Three Graves in a row like I did. TL:DR - There's RNG for the RNG...

5 RepliesDude if you hit the cap already you're probably doing the token exploit, and that means you're the exact reason that cap exists in the first place People are forgetting the Faction Rally isn't just a loot-fest, it's a competition. In competitions there have to be rules that restrict exploits
