Upvote if Fighting Lion is the worst exotic weapon in the game

Edit because someone complained that it offered no constructive feedback: Please make this weapon more effective so that it could force its way to our energy slots. Needs to compete with the likes of Uriels Gift, Sunshot etc
Edit: Hopefully Bungie may see this after having above 2500 upvotes!

This weapon doesnt make any sense, its like a white grenade launcher, except in the secondary slot.

Pair it with a high rate of fire auto and it’s pretty fun in pvp. Especially with ib control. Now I’m not saying it’s a monster but if your quick it can do some damage . Not a bad gun for messing around

7 RepliesThe idea of a”shield breaker” is good but it doesn’t work well. Random legendary weapons take shields down just fine, AND can damage any enemy in the game effectively. Lion kind of sort of drops shields but is useless against anything not shielded. So it’s worse than any purple gun because they can do everything well while lion kind of does one thing ok. For its buff, I don’t have an idea how they could balance it tbh. You make it any stronger damage-wise and it will be crazy OP in pvp. You could just blast someone, quick switch to primary and finish them off. You give it more ammo in the mag and the same story. The answer is, as usual: WE NEEDE SEPARATE PVE/PVP BALANCING. That way you could give it a significant damage boost in pve and make all kills with the weapon an auto mag refill.

I actually enjoyed using this weapon. It’s a fun gun to use if you have absolutely no expectations for it.[spoiler]Still sucks dick tho[/spoiler]
