These numbers include D1 too, because 1 server bank for both games and an engine made in 1983 from Deejs old stove :))
Dying rapidly, and statistical analysts suggest the future wont see growth for the franchise, along with Candy crush, and that activision are already going all in on Black Ops 4 in 2018.
Search black ops 4 leak on youtube for info.
Bring on the fanboys
Don't play then
You try making a game
I enjoy it n think it's 11/10
Git gud
It's better than D1 at launch you can't compare it to a 3 yr old game
Wait till the dlc drops
They'll change things over the years
I love pvp
You're still using green guns
Lololol
Edit: Luke Smith says that because the majority who play, have hit level cap, it means people are sticking around, lololololol

It's as simple as this..... people got tired of d1 due to the because we had been doing the same thing. Now they create d2 and make you do the same things over and over again in order to collect coins. The raid is a joke and forcing us to grind is truly boring. I play no where near as much as i did in d1 and in will not. Destiny's way of trying to keep you playing. Not this time.

1 ReplyIt's friday afternoon here, just went to Nessus to visit dying Xur an do the challenge (completing public events). There was one dude who joined me with one event the rest I couldn't find anybody, it was an empty planet and when you think about it the game is just a month old.

I like the game myself, it needs alot of changes if they want to keep it alive. I know alot of people that were hardcore year one players that got tired of the same old crap and were super excited about D2. we watched all the teaser trailers and videos on leaked info and were were super stoked. I myself ordered the physical deluxe version and the ps4 pro bundle and shirts hats posters figures and what ever else you can think of. The game dropped and the good players are already done with the game. I'm done as far as I have 2 characters @ 305 and one at 303 and I have almost all the exotics. ran the raid and nightfall on normal and prestige. but they have no interest in playing anymore. they maxed out characters got all their crap. run the raid in less then an hour and they moved on. they aren't even sure they want to come back. the game isn't what they hoped for. I am afraid this will happen more and more, for casuals they move from game to game all the time but I put well over 1000 hours into year 1 and I want to be able to put 2 or 3 thousand into D2 but if people lose interest the game with slowly die.

12 RepliesJust look at the number of viewers on twitch. For all of year one and well into year two destiny was in the top 5 regardless of what other games were released. Currently they have slipped and are no longer in the top ten and the game has only been out for a month. The interest in the game is gone, and it's going to be hard to get it back. Will destiny die? Probably never. But it is currently shrinking into the background of just another game with nothing special besides it's difference from the last release.

Thats what happens when you don't provide adequate end-game content.

Edited by ye ok: 10/13/2017 3:18:25 PMIt's "proven" and this shows not loyal players of d2 Simpler than D1 caused content drop. The forums push people away sometimes. Marketing of an activision-bungie combo
-
2 RepliesIdk if this matters but viewership on twitch for destiny decreased immensely. I wonder how streamers prepare for this?
-
I love this.
-
You should only be checking on Tuesdays since Bungie's endgame is to only play on Tuesday to finish the weeklies.
-
1 ReplyHahaha, yes! Finally this joke of a company will go bust and everyone will be happy.
-
1 Reply3 more weeks and i wonder if it will have 50k still playing

1 ReplyEdited by Dayknight: 10/13/2017 1:18:34 PMHold on you have one character at 224...ahhh everyone is entitled to there opinion.
-
2 RepliesWait until it's dlc time and most wont buy it then you will see it collapse.
-
2 RepliesSome people are still waiting for PC version. Other people may just be too busy at the moment to play as much as they might want to.
-
I mean my clan and I don't base our enjoyment of the game on what other people we've never met are doing lol. But ok! I'm glad you've found something about D2 that makes you happy.

6 RepliesEdited by GrayWulf25: 10/13/2017 8:17:47 AMThose numbers are for D2 only. The D1 and D2 APIs from which Destiny Tracker gets all its data are separate. The D2 API knows nothing about D1. I don't expect you to understand that though... Also 2M is just a snapshot of how many people played Crucible or PvE in D2 yesterday Those are still very good numbers
-
Not helping there's 300-600k peeps that can't play due to the 5.0 update bug. Where u at bungie? Need to get on Sony and get it fixed. NO ONE is going to leave Sony and get a Xbox/pic AND pay for this game again, lol. I know I'm done if they don't fix.
-
8 Replies0 days on bungie net. One character at a garbage power level. Don't care what you have to say bye.
-
1 ReplyA million of those are playing Destiny 1 i bet
-
These numbers include D1 too, because 1 server bank for both games and an engine made in 1983 from Deejs old stove :))
I'm going to stop you right there. A common mistake is thinking that the servers are deej's old stove. In fact, it's a potato that has been up the back of the stove for several years.

1 ReplyEdited by PreUsedSoap: 10/13/2017 8:26:47 PMWell thank god Bungie catered to the casuals. What makes this even better is that it is still a declining gradient first week Iron Banner is released. Really makes you think that Bungie knows what they’re doing.

1 ReplyI will say that I'm alone during at least 2/3rds of the public events I attempt, even in flashpoint worlds. When others are playing as well, I may see 2-3 more people max. Not sure why there are so few people on each world, but it definitely doesn't give it a nice MMO feel.

9 RepliesHow much content did vanilla d1 come with????
