People, I played for about 4hours so far and the game has been... fun! Feelin' good about throwin' that money at the screen. Share your experiences below, that elevator though...
Edit: Trending?! Wow!! Thanks for dropping by Cozmo & to all you Guardians for your likes and comments.

It's so slooooooow. Why does it feel like my character is wearing lead boots and lead gloves?
-
1 ReplyI've only played for a couple of hours but the difference between D2 and D1 for me is that at no point so far in D2 have I not known what I'm doing and why. Also shout out to the awesome music score 👍🏻👍🏻
-
3 RepliesWhy does every character look like a transvestite who is made of out clay and painted in pastel colors?
-
Having a lot of fun so far! Best part is that I've played the crap out of it, and still have SO MUCH TO DO!!!!!
-
Loving it . I honestly thought that the comedy portion of the game would be to much to where the dialog was horrid. I'm glad I was wrong. The game play is smooth the loot system lets you use your favorite gear and not always just the best. Only gripe is that the lag in pvp is real. But if that's the only gripe I have Ima be here for a long time

2 RepliesI am enjoying it so far. I just wish there was more options for character creation.

Much better than the beta. The double primaries is still annoying but "power" drops often enough. Haven't touched PvP yet but PvE abilities recharge enough that they don't feel nonexistent, hopefully PvP has changed to match. I hate how they couldn't/wouldn't do a voice for our characters. So annoying to watch cutscenes.

Loving it

After 4 hours of play I am definitely warming up to the two-primaries weapon system. I always loved hand cannons and now I can have this and a scout equipped, rather than have to switch between the two if the situation changed. Hand cannons feel great. Overall game feels great.

1 ReplyIsn't it amazing that the Destiny community already has something to complain about, even when the game is barely a day old?
-
Loving it so far! Haven't stepped a foot in crucible yet tho. Waiting on better gear. Made it to 217 light lvl yesterday.

My eyes hurt...a lot.. Thanks Bungie. GG

I am enjoying D2 a lot. The only thing I'm a little disappointed with is no collectibles like D1's ghosts, calcified fragments or Siva clusters. Other than scanable things, that's all I've found. Just a me thing.

7 RepliesLove game but I deleted 1 toon and the character creation was straight trash it's all D1 I should of just imported toon

Love the positivity

1 ReplyEdited by vmondude: 9/7/2017 2:20:29 PMI'm blown away by the build quality of this over Destiny 1! It truly is beautiful! And the music composer is a genius!! I'm also having a very hard time believing it's only running at 30fps! Even on my destiny edition PS4 (non pro) it's Crystal clear and SO SMOOTH! Especially the cut scenes. Did you figure it out at the last minute Bungie? Because it's running sweet as a nut and the graphics are gorgeous! Non of that usual 30fps twitchiness. Now I know I've been abusive about Bungie in the past over frustration from D1, but my faith in Bungie is back, and I apologize, you've seriously nailed it this time! Except for the character screen, its very bland looking, that's my only complaint. Oh and that the game doesn't support Technicolour routers. Moose error on ps4 beta always at the same place at Ikora where it switches from public back to private, no one's there and it kicks to orbit. On pc beta too. Still happens now on console release. Switch routers and it works fine. I did a YT video showing the fix with over 2800 views so it's not just my set up. (Just in case Bungie read this)

I'm really liking D2 so far except for a few minor issues. Like have the same hairstyles , vaults are still a mess now everything is lumped together. So yeah i'm glad i stayed with destiny. Course the difference is i'll prolly join a clan this time around. Playing solo in the cruicible is not as fun as D1.
-
2 hour in and I'm having a fantastic time. It's good to be back after a long break from D1

Edited by Skipper1175: 9/7/2017 11:51:59 AMYeah it's been fun, I just wish my guardian had a voice!!! *Damn it looks and feels dumb as Hell* And one more request to bring actual feeling of an online, rpg, mmo game -- open voice chat in the social spaces at least, Please...(not just fireteam chat and could have it toggled off as default). Oh and Why can't I change my guardians appearance??! I thought we were going to be able to do that. Please put a barber at the Farm. Anyways, Thanks!

1 ReplyI went straight up to finish the campaign after I hit 20. Now mind you I am 40+ I prefer casually hitting every mode (not big on pvp) Oh and I know I may never be able to raid due to a lack of true matchmaking (also sucks) However, for all those short comings? I see my 60 dollars well spent on the nearly 12 hours it took to hit 20. (yeah midnight to 4 PM with breaks in the early morning cause I needed to sit back and relax before diving in again with no sleep.) Not only that but I got in a few areas that VERY Halo feeling I seen only ONCE in the Iron lord mission in Destiny 1. I HATED Destiny 1 and it's DLC..... That said..... Thank you Bungie for trying to make up for it. I thoughroughy ENJOY playing Destiny 2 and look forward to your future efforts. I think Bungie redeemed themselves for the most part. *holds up a glass and says cheers to those who made the game.* I soooo missed you guy's stories from Halo. Welcome back.

Finished the campaign, level 20 210 odd light. The music continually cuts in and out, like a scratched cd. Every single cutscene played for a second, stopped for a second, played a second etc the entire time. The crucible is made for fireteams only. 4x4 is rubbish. Shader system is stupid.

Finnaly played a little bit last night, and i loved it. The game world looks good, and i get i feeling there are tons of stuff to do when i roam around. It also feels fresh, completely different game in my opinion. Progression, weapons, armor, perks, activities and the game-world looks really promising. Cant wait to play some more.
-
I'm loving it. Well played bungie 👏. Other than the issue with the shaders I think we are on to a winner. Miles better than d1. Ps does anybody else get distracted as -blam!- when trying to do story missions?
-
2 RepliesD2 strongest suit is... Patrol. Having everything be focused on Patrol, was a great idea. Public Events Lost Sectors Chests Random Pike/Interceptor/Drake Fights Random High Value Target Random Enemies Move Against Each Other Patrol Missions Adventures Challenges NPCs with Factions Treasure Maps Heroic Public Events Launching Missions Maps I don't know what else I am missing, but Lord almighty, patrol feels so fresh and MASSIVE. Titan is also my favorite just because the setting is gorgeous, but I know Nessus and EDZ are easily the two biggest.

I know is a bite soon but at this time pve is fun. First we need to reach max lvl (or at least near of the max) and complete the main history, then we see if all that content and fun is relative or not. Time will tell.
