4 RepliesYep. Hyped. The beta was a nice taste of things to come. I had no real expectations for D2 except for the one thing that everyone is complaining about CHANGE. It is a sequel not a DLC. It is like all the try hards and trolls wanted D2 to be a D1 DLC perfected by THEIR standards. Then of course the same people would cry, bitch, and moan that Bungie didn't do anything to make a the game new.

I loved the way the Beta played and felt (especially that Fusion Rifle and Auto Rifle). It truly felt like Destiny 2, and I'm definitely excited for things to come. The story intrigues me the most. I really want to know what the future holds for the various races, especially the Taken. Will a new Taken King (or even Queen) rise? Will Oryx be properly "described" by the actions of the Cabal and return to haunt us once more? Will Ghaul meet the same fate as Primus Ta'aun and Primus A'arn before him? Also, we'd better see some Vex vs Hive action this time. They are the only races that we've never seen meet on the battlefield, a real surprise considering the history between the two.

Hyped but not over hyped. When I took a break from Destiny, I wasted money on GTA5 , MEA and GoW4 because those are the games family members play. Nothing in Destiny 2 can be worse than any one of those games, so I will keep my preorder and play it to death.

I'm actually more hyped due to the Beta. I love D1. Played many hours since beta. But I fell off after RoI. Triumph just didn't have anything that I wanted, and I got bored. With the Beta it gave me a small taste of how they are mixing things up and it felt fresh! My biggest worry with D2 was it would feel to much of the same. I totally understand why a lot of folks are upset about the beta. It does change and mix things up quite a bit. But I'm for change so yeah... I'm hyped!

I get a little more hyped each day. I keep thinking of all the stuff we haven't even sniffed yet... Economies The variety of PVE New events (like QW, IB) And... all those empty mod boxes. There were oodles of them. Can they all be cosmetic? I'm not so sure...

I wouldn't say hyped.... but then I've never been hyped for any destiny content since the vanilla game released lol I'm just concerned that all the changes and direction that bungie has made for the sake of PvP will make PvE quite stale. Wasn't overly impressed with the PvE part of the beta, but did actually enjoy the PvP side. Looking forward to seeing what the full game is like
