3 RepliesI'm not necessarily hyped out of my mind, but I'm looking forward to it. I'll get my money's worth from it, one way or another. If I can still loot engrams, I will get my money's worth. Wait, I can still do that, can't I? Regardless, I didn't like D1 because it was like Halo, or WoW, or whatever...I liked it because it reminded me of Phantasy Star Online. If D2 can deliver on that front, I'll be happy.

24 RepliesLike if you're REALLY HYPED FOR SLOW GAMEPLAY, SHITTY COOLDOWN TIMES, AND 8 SUPERS IN THE LAST 14 SECONDS OF THE GAME
title :D

-blam!-ing kill me
Edited by Solarvoidlock: 7/29/2017 8:40:30 PMCan't wait to play Voidblade again and try the other attunements.
ATTUNEMENT OF HUNGER (Voidwalker) Devour - Kill an enemy with this melee ability to fully regenerate your health. For a short time afterward, kills restore additional health. Feed the Void - Hold L1/LB to consume your grenade energy to regenerate your health. Grants the Devour effect. Insatiable - While the Devour effect is active, killing enemies extends its duration and recharges your grenade. Vortex - Nova Bomb creates a singularity which continually damages enemies trapped inside.

ATTUNEMENT OF FLAME (Dawnblade) Igniting Touch - Strike an enemy with this melee ability to burn them and cause them to explode when killed. Fated for the Flame - Daybreak projectiles seek targets as they travel and, upon impact, launch a streak of deadly flames. Everlasting Fire - Killing an enemy with Daybreak extends its duration. Phoenix Dive - Hold O/B while midair to quickly descend and restore your health. While Daybreak is active, descend causes explosive damage.
#39days

Our guardians had ADHD so they ran around killing everything and talking nonstop so bungie needed them.

42 RepliesWhy, it's just a game. And not really that great. You need to get a life, hype over a game is really ignorant
-
I wasn't hyped at all until I played the beta. This game might actually be good.
-
5 RepliesThe beta gameplay sucked the pee pipe of a horse.

Already took the week off work for this! Just hope the servers stay up. If not, I am 5 miles from the beach :) As for the direction it has gone, I know it will grow on me and consume my time just like the last one. After deleting my characters months ago, I still think of it every week and the fun I had in trials, raids, and patrols. Also, I preordered on PSN so I think I am stuck with it no matter what...

5 RepliesYour name suggest, you're trolling. But for you hyped sheeps, be ready for disappointment.

15 RepliesEdited by giggaman: 7/28/2017 10:51:11 PMAll of you have been trolled beyond your comprehension. OP, congrats!!!

Hyped? No. Looking forward to it? Absolutely. For destiny I was constantly looking for any new info and chatting to friends about what I learned or read about the game. This time around I have pre ordered but I just don't feel that same level of excitement and awe. Which is actually a good thing. You have a higher chance of happiness when you have realistic or even low expectations that are exceeded in the end. I enjoyed destiny and found it to be fun and entertaining for longer than any other game I've played and I'm hopeful I'm going to enjoy destiny 2. I just don't want to hype it and over inflate my expectations.

4 RepliesEnjoyed Destiny quite a bit, so looking forward to it, but it feels very much like just more of the same. I'm certainly not 'hyped'. Looking forward to it though.
-
Yup, just like everyone else on this forum, whether they admit it or not.
go ahead admit it
12 RepliesIt's funny seeing all these people who say they aren't "hyped but they're here commenting on every thread that pops up. Like, what kind of people roam around a product they feel so negative towards? And it's everyday they're in here commenting, its hilarious!

2 RepliesCan't wait. Love the direction they're taking.

6 RepliesEdited by AnonymousFriend: 7/29/2017 6:46:13 AMI'd love to be stoked for this game. But the opposite is happening. Every day I'm closer to just cancelling the pre-order. I'm tired of waiting for better. I'm tired of one step forward, three steps back. I can understand not giving away a quarter of the game in the beta. That's reasonable. Our expectations were a little high in that area, but that was Bungie's fault for doing it before. It would have been better to include a small patrol area. The story mission was really good, the strike was a bit in the boring side, and the PvP felt joyless with the slow cooldowns and lack of special weapons. The biggest thing I would have been excited for was the continuation of vanilla's story regarding the darkness and exo-stranger. But nope! The last three years have been a series of underwhelming advances. It makes a lot of of yearning to just be whelmed.

3 RepliesEdited by DoctorGigglesMD: 7/29/2017 4:13:28 PMThe reason most people weren't hyped is because the game doesn't stray too far from D1, in most aspects it plays exactly the same. So most people complain about how similar it is and when something changes from that similarity theyll complain that it isn't the same. Wtf guys.
