What do u guys think?
Edit: Lots of you guys are complaining about lag but remember that Bungie said there would be lag issues and other things wrong with the beta.

Only played through as a warlock so far. Pros: - weapons system feels good - abilities feel powerful - great story mission - pvp was crisp with no lag Cons: - abilities take to long to charge - the warlocks jump is even slower than D1 - everyone using their super at 7 mins of an 8 min match is odd, essentially just to shut down other supers. - power weapons don't really feel that powerful Looking forward to delving deeper into weapon and armour customisation also the locked out tree on the viodwalker looks good for pve.

-blam!-ing amazing. All I have to say.
-
Everything has been super fun, only problem is I get kicked at the end of most of my games

9 RepliesI'm concerned about how long it takes to kills simple ads in PvE because of no special weapons. Like a yellow bar shielded captain will take hours to kill. Can anyone who has played the beta offer feedback on this aspect?
-
1 ReplyI know that everybody is mentioning how the supers take longer to charge in D2, but I actually like that. Only because I feel like there's gonna be exotic gear that will actually boost the rate, making gear very essential. I could be wrong, but nonetheless the super charge rate isn't a huge issue to me. The only thing I'm not liking is the jump and maneuvering, but alas that takes time getting used to.

It's different, but still feels like the Destiny that I know and love. My only gripes about what I've experienced so far is the lack ammo being dropped and the exotic perk for Sunshot, Sun Blast, doesn't always want to make targets explode upon a kill. My biggest gripe is that our character still doesn't speak. Would it have been that bad to throw in some lines? Haven't tried out crucible yet. Maybe later though. So far, I give what I've played a 8.5/10

PvP - So far its okay the 6's was nice but 4's can be intense sometimes! why can't have both right ;) PvE - The story mission was awesome like usual!! and the added new music is so sweet i love it! got me hype to see more about the story (and the way we got our light sucked from us was kinda badass) but the sad thing it once you finished the story mission you can't access unless you create a new character and plus is a solo only so you can't invite your friends to play together which is kinda upsetting :( but overall, its an exciting feeling, hope destiny 2 live up to its hype!

Love it. Mission establishes the threat very well, weapons are nice, pvp feels more fluid, interface is better, etc. Overall, it's great.

This beta is truly awefull. The first story mission was ok, but the PvP is shocking. The movement is slow (even on max mobility). The guns are weak AF. The grenades are weak AF. All I can say is I'm glad I didn't preorder this shoddy excuse for a game. Bungie you really have outdone yourself here. Top Notch game, just like Starwars Battlefront!!! Slow claps all round 👏🏻 🖕🏻

3 RepliesEdited by RedruM: 7/18/2017 7:56:18 PMLoved the action, aesthetics and sounds in the first 2 missions. I was surprised you can only play by yourself for the 2 missions available. I could only play the strike with friends. Destiny 1 beta had much more to do. There's no leveling or whatsoever. Too bad! Strike was a blast! Good fun strike with a good boss encounter. Enjoyed it very much! Multiplayer 4 on 4 was surprisingly fun altough i miss a good 6 on 6. I'd love to have a 6 on 6 option for multiplayer. There's more like a trials feel to the 4 on 4 which i dislike. It's prolly gonna be sweaty (big thumbs down). I tried Sentinel and Dawnblade. Sentinel was fun, altough you can only throw the shield once (besides the locked options in skill tree). Good all around subclass and fun to use. You can either go aggressive or defensive with this class. Very varsatile! Dawnblade felt way stronger to be honest. In multiplayer i could rack up kills easily with its subclass (grenades/super charge). Dawnblade was somewhat like the sunbreaker hammers. Dislike the fact that super charges seem to charge much slower then before.

6 RepliesWhy are all my guardians females? I don't know how to change it at character creation.
-
8 RepliesLove the first mission but am gutted that I can't play it again with that character. I'm enjoying the arcstrider - the infinite dodge/melee build is great fun. Also really enjoying PvP. Will try the other classes later in the week.
-
7 RepliesStory mission was pretty great -it was lengthy -plenty of enemies -majors and boss weren't too bullet spongey -good dialogue -Smooth gameplay and alright abilities Pvp -When everyone works together, it's a beautiful experience. -Feels decently balanced -Nightshade seems a bit strong -the grenade launcher is meh -killing roaming supers feels doable Overall, I'm enjoying it. Wish it was longer too
-
Good PvP I don't get sniped every 10 seconds and primary gun fights are fun and the story seems interesting Dawnblade is awful and super charge takes an eternity though

Edited by spankingCane: 7/18/2017 8:25:48 PMPlayed a few pvp solo Won some lost some Like the fact that weapons are the main tools not just grenade spam or supers overpowered Not sure about the jumps yet ,slow ...but shooting airbourne is easier The strike was fun but for pve would like a faster super charge since they are not D1 powerful Not experienced any lag ...except for that time a voidwalker moved from one point to another instantly (could of been blink no one uses blink ....right? lol) Edit: super animation soooo long , iv found if i want to super i have to hide, then super. Wish we was invincible during animation its not like we can do anything while its going on. (Then while animation is going on enemies can decide to flee or engage)

The TTK is absolutely ridiculous!! My only complaint so far.
-
2 RepliesMan...the guns are so weak!! :(
-
It's fun, thats the main thing. The ttk needs looking at in pvp though, its a little too slow. Any 2v1s are nearly impossible to win, thats no fun. The strike and story mission were cool, i really enjoyed them. The weapons seemed weak but we have not seen all the exotics yet, there could be some great primary or energy weapons.

Edited by BOSS_TPH76: 7/18/2017 8:14:43 PMGun play feels sluggish and slow. This has little to do with decreased damage output but with handling and aim speed. (And I of course did set via the options menu before ppl ask). Movement feels slower as well. Less agile and less smooth. The best I can compare it with is like wading through mud. 4v4 is exactly like I expected it to be...and I need to spend more time with it before I can give a final judgement. Hunters feel rather underpowered in comparison to both other classes...a shade step on such a high cool down is really no match for the other class abilities. It is also really telegraphed when encountering it. But this fits in with the overall feel. At no point outside the super did I feel powerful as a character. Supers are very nice. And I was worried about that. Power ammo drop is low. Boss battle is a slug fest...slow and bullet spongy. It gets really boring after a while. Music is excellent. Graphics are good. Still on the fence about the new weapon system.

Edited by xSinicle: 7/18/2017 8:13:02 PMPve looked very pretty compared to d1. Weapons feel like they have weight to them so they can take some getting used to. Cant say anything on abilities yet other than them being "slow" which can change once the full game is out and we can customize our characters build. Pvp is great. First game a 2.83, second we mercy ruled. 3rd game was a loss due to going against a fireteam but still ended up over a 2kd due to PEOPLE RELYING ON SPECIAL FROM DESTINY 1 SO THEIR GUNSKILL IS TRASH. Due to this setback for many people, so far I can say Im ahead of the curve in pvp as I played a bunch more. Played first on a warlock, jump felt faster in a way but seemed a little annoying on how long it took to go back down to the ground even after cancelling the floof going up *have to press the jump again until it realizes you want to go down*. Trying hunter now. WHY CANT I CHOSE MY GENDER? So far my warlock and hunter are both female. I'd like a male...my gender, yeah.
-
12 RepliesI found it to be too similar. Felt like i'd done it all before. Just felt like DLC really.

Edited by Savathun's Tasty Morsel: 7/18/2017 8:12:59 PM1) Under the privacy settings tab they added an option to filter by "friends and clan." There should really be a filter for just clan members. If I'm doing something with clan members and a spot opens up, I might not necessarily want just anyone from my friends list to hop in. 2)Bungie still couldn't find two actors to do the voice acting for our guardians. They are complete mutes. They literally take a 2 ton punch to the face and don't even let out a grunt or groan, really Bungie? 3) Look sensitivity and ADS sensitivity shouldn't be tied to the same number.

Edited by Luke_The_Pug: 7/18/2017 8:14:22 PMI like it. The PvP feels consistent, and I feel like I can actually kill people without abilities being half of my kills. This time it takes actual gun skill to be good. PvE? Eh... the mission was great. I like what they did. I can't wait to play the campaign. The strike was fun. I got to use the grenade launcher and I had fun on the Sentinel. Edit: Super takes too long to load. Faster super charge is needed.
-
Tried warlock solar class, superfun. Completed the strike, my super gave the last 3 hits, dat pleasure
-
6 RepliesI can't even play the shit! Literary it's shit!

Well twilight garrison for warlocks! I didn't see that coming. Just did the mission though.
