Then don't play it.

Well, I guess with this much disappointment, most people will only play this game for 5,000 hours. If only it was better we could force ourselves to play 10,000 hours or more. What garbage... #satire

3 RepliesEdited by Optimus_immortel: 6/16/2017 10:53:53 AMi did hear the jez say one super per match? can anyone clarify this?

Thats just like your opinion man
-
3 RepliesBut you'll still pre-order and spend countless hours into the game. Stop posting these "wahhhh this game sucks" posts. People like you are the most entitled brats ever.

6 Replies(Ok, before I start this comment I am going to be looking at this from a perspective similar to that if you were rating the game. Note that these are my opinions.) To address your issues, 1. There are basically dedicated servers, it's a hybrid. I thought people knew this(read the weekly Bungie posts, they say a lot people). If you were to rate the servers that they state to now have, they will probably be around a 8.5/10(10 being perfect flawless servers) 2. This is the one point that I think is a truly bad negative. I really liked the gun system in destiny 1 and this was obviously made to balance PvP in a supposedly PvE focused game. This, from what we have seen so far is probably the objectively worst part of D2 so far. 5/10, but remember that we have to wait until the beta to see how truly bad this is. If they changed PvE to fit this well, then I think it could bump up to a 6.5 or maybe even a 7(10 being a slightly improved version of the previous gun system) 3/4. The 6v6, 4v4 argument is one of opinions. If you were to look at this from a game reviewers perspective, it doesn't matter if it's 4v4 or 6v6 as long as the PvP is good. ALSO, note that these changes were made to compliment the maps so we don't have a repeat of icebreaker, no land beyond hell like we did with the long range 6v6 maps or matador 64 spam in close range 6v6 maps in D1. In the end it's a matter of opinion. I say it's another "wait till the beta" things. Objectively, 8/10(10 being perfect maps with 6v6 or larger) 5. Rumble isn't immediately returning but it could be later. Rumble is a tricky one because once again it comes down to opinion. But, in the end they are taking away a game mode so 6.5/10 for now, 7.5/10 if they bring it back later(10 being it already in the game with good maps as well) 6. Power ammo only being to one person should be a good thing right? I mean you always hear people complain about 1 shot weapons or abilities(shotguns, snipers, fusion grenades, etc.) so shouldn't less of those be better? Or is it just go back to "I want powerful stuff but the second it harms me it needs to be nerfed or removed"? 8.5/10 helps balance the game but not perfect or best solution.(10 being balance without having to limit all power weapons) 7. Sure ships are still loading screens, but that doesn't really affect gameplay and you can't rate a game on stuff they didn't say they would have and in the end don't have. So...N/A. You can't rate this. 8. Same thing as above, they never said they would and that was never a public outcry. It doesn't really affect gameplay so N/A. 9. We will have to wait and see on this one. We won't be able to know until the first patch update. N/A 10. Machine guns are being replaced with a more flexible gun type so it's actually better and adds more diversity. 9/10(10 being having both submachine guns and machine guns and them being significantly different and diverse.) 11. Yeah guided games is a good idea. 10/10(10 being a matchmaking system that helps new players get a start, but still makes it so that you have to work to get through the harder activities. Like the hard mode raid. It also doesn't force hardcore players to carry noobs.) 12. I think that whatever they have planned for hardcore will be good, but we can't know yet. N/A. Summary(TLDR): Based on the information given right now, and given the perspective of it from a game reviewer, D2 would get an 8. This makes since from what we know. It'll be good, but not the most amazing game we have ever seen. It will probably hinge mostly on how well they handle the new gun system in PvE, and how well they support the crucible with PvP only buffs and nerfs when the community asks for them. How is this game looking worse with every interview again?

2 RepliesEdited by Crypto -PS4-: 6/16/2017 11:55:28 AMThought I'd swing by, I can use a refill. You seem to have plenty to spare.

4 RepliesI have been reading that there will only be 6 subclasses in D2 so there is that BS. Kind of not happy about that.
-
My only major gripe is the 3 character classes again. I really hoped for a 4th or 5th new class. Hopefully they add that in sometime

7 RepliesAbility to revive teammates in hard raids is bad for me. Too easy already

Comment 1000.

You can bet your ass that the Kinetic and Energy weapons will share the same specific weapon. Instead of having two Raid Scout Rifles with different names, archetype and stats, Bungie will most likely give us two "Chaos Dogmas" instead. One goes in the the Kinetic slot, the other in the Energy Slot. Boring!
-
Most my fun in D1 came from pvp. I will miss the mayhem/chaos/fast paced of 6v6, it was really non stop fun. No more Mayhem? Rift? The 4v4 footage I watched from E3 was cool but really serious and tactical, not a game you play to relax. Did not grasp Deej comments on IGN interview, they are doing this to teach players how to play and to slow down the game? Deej didn't understand why he died in a match and why? C'mon! Even I could figure what I did wrong. I'm super average and had tons of fun in crucible and IB. Flanking and tactics were never an issue. Maybe they're gearing this new improved modes at the pros, oh lordy!
-
Yeah those are bad things to you maybe not me I like the changes 4v4 is just fine with me only one person gets power ammo ? Good that way if your team is getting stomped you don't get murdered by the entire enemy team with power ammo in my opinion I like all the stuff they've done with the game
-
Wait... taken are back? That right there is enough for me to cancel my preorder unless they did away with all the annoying abilities and teleporting every second

1 ReplyYou can add NO BEARDS to that. https://mobile.twitter.com/lars_bakken/status/875508962770034688

4 RepliesEdited by MindExergy: 6/16/2017 6:34:40 AMI honestly can't recall a serious shooter that doesn't have a free for all mode. I mean I prefer 6s right now because there's so much chaos I can hold my own by myself (except against loser 6 man Elo farmers) but since it's gonna be 4v4 I was looking forward to free for all since we're gonna be matching more teams. Coordinated teams at that. That's honestly sad. That's how I got to 50 in the old halo. Lone wolves because I didn't have a dedicated team of 4 to play ranked with. Just some friends I messed around in the social modes. Enjoy getting wrecked solo even if you are good against everyone and their mother running a 4 man and making callouts. We also know they won't rig the matchmaking to match teams vs teams either. Very disappointed. One person with power ammo? I'm a primary based player but I love to snipe. Great I'll have one opportunity to do so every 4 games and lose it on death vs a 4 man team. Game sounds like trash so far. Just have to wait and see. I also heard there's no ranked play. So what's the point of all this crap if there's not even a ranked mode? Bore the hell out of every one. 4 man teams of dawncallers running rifts vs solo players. Are we sure bungie created halo?
-
I think every character should have 2 sub classes to choose from the start
-
I will still buy it and love it, I just hope for a ranking system in pvp it would be wild
-
Edited by medic: 6/16/2017 9:12:59 AMThe few things that tick me off- Private matches going away (Why?) And The Taken coming back, like honestly, they're not hard to fight, just ridiculously annoying...
-
The guided games not being for end level activity is a real disappointment. No one needs to join up with a clan to do normal strikes, missions or whatever they are calling it now. I don't know what to think about the 4v4
-
29 RepliesPostives inclde, 4v4 sounds great. Raids are being revamped to be better. Ranked and Casual playlists for PvP. More balanced loadouts for PvP. PvE having a new diverse weapon system, which looks really interesting. Guided games. Subclasses are revamped. Enhanced storyline. Much more, shall i continue?
-
You don't have to buy the game. Nobody is forcing you to hand over your money. If you really don't like the way the game is going then just walk away.

10 RepliesI would just like to say that I hate this whole argument that ships should do more. Destiny is a first person shooter among other things. Not only would ship gameplay be pointless, but it's a waste of space. You are telling me that instead of a well rounded story with great cutscenes and fleshed out characters you would rather have stuff to do with your ships? Personally i would much rather have a better story. But to each its own
