Ignorance and manipulation toward marijuana
It really saddens me how ignorant people are towards marijuana. You're told from a young kid that it's the most evil drug ever and adults believe that shit. Y'all do realize Big Macs are more harmful than marijuana. No ones ever died from it and it has healing effect. That's why it is a medical medicine. No really good doctor/scientist will tell you it's harmful. The law always dances around the topic.
I'm not here to give a lesson. If you dont like it, fine. Don't go and tell people it's bad for you though. If that's the case, than you better not be eating Big Macs.

2 RepliesThere's really nothing to suggest marijuana has any healing properties. That's just dudeweed urban legend. It's also not *necessarily* harmful to your physiological health, but it can have really horrific phychological effects on some people, although that is rare. The biggest problem is it has a really shitty scene and attracts horrible people. Get involved enough in it and you will surround yourself with lowlives.

It reduces self awareness and mental processing, sometimes in the long term if it's a repeated use. That's why it's used to relieve pain, but also why it's used recreationally - and that is what people are against. However, I want to see tobacco outlawed before that is. Edit: it's also a gateway drug.

3 RepliesWell, no. I agree with you, but it is still bad for you. Most of the time, it's bad to inhale something that isn't oxygen into your lungs. It's much less harmful than many other substances, such as nicotine or alcohol, but it still isn't good. However, if substances like nicotine and alcohol are legal, I see no reason for marijuana to be illegal.

Yuuupppp have to go to court over it tomorrow. Cops were saying how it should be legal and all that as they arrested my buddy and I. Even joked about giving it back to us. Can't wait to have the state of NJ mug me for my money over a plant.

1 ReplyMarijuana is completely fine. The culture is up its own ass though. The effect is the same as a couple beers with no hangover. That's it. TV lies to you, you don't see colors or any of the cliche's...that's what people who don't smoke it, think it does to you. Ridiculous.

The problem is is that it's not fully understood. It has some healing properties but we still don't know all it can fix or all the possible long term side effects as we do for the Big Mac. With understanding comes acceptance.

Yesterday while i was getting a hot dog. Some guy asked me if i wanted to buy weed outside 7-11. I said no but they made recreational use legal. Also glad people who don't want to take tons of pills can use it medically. Hemp has so many uses but i am not stating for one side or another. I like beer so that is all.

4 RepliesThere's plenty of studies out there illustrating some of the drug's negative effects. It's a topic I really don't care much about and I'd be fine with legalization, but you're doing exactly what your post is accusing others of: manipulation and spreading ignorance about weed. I've found that the pro-marihuana group is equally quilty of being biased and blind as the antis when it comes to this. Just be honest.
