No. There won't be any multiplayer beta. There is however a 10 hour preview for anyone with EA access, in which you can play multiplayer as much as you like.

Just to clarify, the early EA access essentially works like a timed trial right? You get 10 hours of gameplay doing whatever, single or multiplayer, until the timer runs out if I understand correctly. Just want to make sure that doesn't only apply to the campaign, in which case I would spend my entire weekend playing MP.

That's correct, 10 hours total playtime. Campaign is gated so you can only get to the end of the first main planet (about 5-6 hours without doing everything), but multiplayer has no limit aside from the time limit.

Understood. Well hopefully 10 hours of multiplayer can hold me over until next Tuesday lol, probably won't tease myself with the campaign before then.

Thsts my plan as well. I don't really feel like hitting a wall and having to wait so I probably won't touch it until Tuesday. If I do it will only be to create my character and do the intro in sure. Other than that, multiplayer it is.
