If D2 isn't PvE based

IIRC, one of the tools their upgrading within the new engine is the ability to create content more efficiently. In the long term, this should mean more fulfilling content drops and more often.

Its trending, because this is a topic that a lot of people are passionate about. PVE players are angry and frustrated by the constant, random power-drains to ou Guardians due to the constant nerfs trying to "balance" PvP. PvP players sympathize (most reasonable ones do at any rate) with the frustration of PVE players, because they know that the two camps have incompatible needs....and that its not fair for nerfs targeted at PVP should have to impact PvE.

PVP and its limitless hordes of crucibibabies are a serious cancer to this game. Only FPS that penalizes you for using guns and having ammo.

The PvE player based died off real fast and its now at a point where its almost 1 - 1 with PvE and PvP players each day. I dont see how Bungie can solve this problem with D2, Strikes in their current form are so -blam!-ing boring, raids even get super repetitive, patrols -blam!-ing suck dick though i heard they are changing in D2 as 1 huge open world which might be fun. We then have everyone preping months out from a DLC release so they can get max light within a day or 2... once they get maxxed though everything becomes kind of pointless as theres no more progression.

6 RepliesE sports are too big to ignore. E sports is growing at an Incredible rate. I used to be really into having more pve but I mean after the raids beat what else is there to do? They can't just add a new raid every month. This game is set up to fail at what most people want from it. After the initial grind there's nothing to do but farm pvp weapons and armor. I don't need to grind for pve. Can grab almost any weapon and any gear that is the right level and use it.

8 RepliesThe problem is the game not being separated from PvP. That's the only problem. The fact that PvE changes every time PvP changes is absolutely unacceptable. And more than that and this is honestly what pisses me off to no end. THERES NO REASON FOR IT. I can understand if Bungie had a quarterly tournament and a yearly tournament where large sums of money were being exchanged and tons of sponsors and the like. But Bungie is literally ruining the pve gameplay for a non-competitive PvP. It's insane. And unacceptable.

Destiny yr 1 was PvE based, and Bungie botched it, so they gradually took the focus to PvP. Thanks for providing our catalyst. : )

I can only hope that they have only one pvp event each month instead of the current setup then the player might appreciate it a lot more

They REALLY need to keep old content relevant the day a new expansion releases in Destiny 2. You could have a big pve base off of just that like they are finally doing now. Yes but of course certain PvP changes should not effect pve.
