This is beyond frustrating, a direct Hammer to the face should ALWAYS reward the player with the kill. Is it ok that the only roaming Super we have as Titans is so underwhelming ? That its practically literally useless and unreliable ?? absolutely NOT. I don't understand why this issue hasn't been addressed by Bungie yet, especially considering the release of ROI. As it is now Hammer of sol NEEDS to be looked at and reworked, I can't tell you the amount of times HOS has has either 1. direct Hammer failing to take down opponent. 2. Direct Hammers dealing no damage. As a Sunbreaker all I ask for is consistency, if I land a direct Hammer then that individual should be taken down by that Hammer. Also I want to bring up the perk -Flameseeker Forge master and -cauterize. First, flameseeker needs a CONSIDERABLE buff, as it is now the tracking is non existent, and cauterize needs to have no cool down, bringing the damage resistance down was quite enough to allow sunbreakers to be taken down. Now with Forge master ... I went into a private match alone and tested the "extra" blast radius of the perk. First I experimented with and without the perk, my conclusion ? Forge master is only good for making your super last longer and throwing more Hammers [two to be exact] The solution ? Buff forge master by a maximum of 10 % This will allow direct hits to always 1 shot. If these changes are taken into consideration and implemented, then sunbreakers won't be op, but balanced and reliable,. With all this said, I myself can't do much without you guys, please like, share and comment your thoughts, if bungie sees enough people agree, then maybe just maybe they'll give sunbreakers the rebalance and tuning they need. I thank all of you for your patience and reading this far. Bungie if your reading this then please take in consideration, us Titans Deserve a reliable roaming subclass. Thank you.

16 RepliesThis is from your channel this is what hos is at its best a whole team wiped out. Even Nova bomb can't do that unless it's a lucky shot. Sunbreakers have manoeuvrability, power and range. And multiple use not like golden gun. It's fine

5 RepliesI use Sunbreaker a lot and have found hammers unreliable at times. Solution: Suncharge. It's extremely overpowered and fun and can one shot pretty much any other super roaming around. And armour of light bubble titans. Avoid challenging a gunslinger though lol. I would say the tracking perk getting a buff would fix it. Yes it makes it easier but at least your having to sacrifice a perk as a compromise. Seems fair. Everything else is fine.

Every time I tried to use the tracking perk, the opponent would jump id throw a hammer and it would "track" to where the player was, making me miss. Not a fan lol

If you watch closely you can see that the warlock lunged to melee you lunging them through the hammer so it wasn't a direct hit and therefore it was a glitch. Also I play sunbreaker and I don't think I have ever not one shot Someone with a hammer and that also have a good fast melee also they have good grenades so I don't think there is any reason to buff sunbreaker

14 RepliesSunbreaker does NOT need a buff. It kills ANYONE with a direct hit, no matter if they are in supers or whatever. The only reason it won't kill in a direct hit is if it glitches out.
