Agreed. I love seeing people claim it's balanced right now. Special weapons are a plague in pvp right now. Those still complaining about snipers are ridiculously blinded by their shottys. In July at least two weekends of ToO were actually dominated by shotguns. Primary kill time does not support the super fast movement and evades/jumps that Destiny has to offer. While primaries on their own are actually in a good place in terms of balance. Most primaries have around the same kill time but they are completely overshadowed by special weapons. Having .87 kill times with the ability to close with Titan skating being at .5 is a tad broken. Back up all you want but you are moving slower while that Titan has no equip delay from things like juggernaut or simple Titan skating. (Not picking on Titans even with the equip delay of blink you can close faster than primary weapon kills. Then on the sniper end, with the rate of fire on sniper rifles the kill time is .83 with high impact and .53 with low impact. (2 shots) It is actually faster to two tap someone with a sniper then it takes to kill someone with Hawksaw....I have been using a fusion rifle lately and learned the charge Time is faster then primary kill time and even faster with weapons like PlanC ( 2 to 3 in .87.) Even with less ammo year 2 has catered to special weapon users by a decent amount. On top of all that (which doesn't cover everything) sbmm causes massive latency and lag. Add in ghost bullets from many weapon types and you have a pvp that needs some serious work. With private matches coming in year 3 getting rid of Sbmm should be a major patch.

Very true. Admittedly I took a forced 9 month break from video games, which makes me 9 months behind everyone else, as well as 9 months out of practice, so that obviously has some to do with it.

Crucible is better on all fronts than launch. It's never been better, imo. I have fewer issues with connections, game balance and the meta than ever. Really, I have a hard time chalking my deaths up to anything besides enemy skill or advantage. I enjoy Crucible now, and that coming from someone whose only motivation to grind IB was the gear. I really don't get all this Y1 PvP nostalgia I've seen on the forums lately. Year One PvP was atrocious. First it was Galahad-or-Get-Sad, then the Regime of the Suros, Hax Mythoclast, Thornpatch and Only One Word. Then in Year Two, Pulse rifles were big for a minute and Sunbreaker was unbreakable. Lagswitching was a nightmare. All of that is fixed, finally, and somehow people remember it fondly and are halfway to calling it Destiny's PvP glory days.

Mida and Grasp need work You can equip them and literally do 100x better, stats on them are very misleading with sniper range, mega impact and almost no damage fall off Why would you use anything else? That's the problem
