Could do a poll, just want to see how many people will put some faith into bungie, I am going to but I really hope they can truly revive their game.
Edit: Obviously everyone is buying it to progress. I'm saying that once new E3 games come out I might not be on this game anymore and I'm sure a lot of others won't either. Vanilla Destiny was exciting, this destiny is just boring
Edit 2: Love this game, who doesn't, I'm just saying they could've done a lot better with year 2.

Edited by Diamond D Nice: 8/3/2016 9:07:05 PMI'm actually not buying it but I'll still monitor the progress of the game (is it good, are they fixing broke things, adding story and features, drop rates getting fixed, etc. ) I'm on a legacy console and I've burnt out on destiny. Rise of iron hasn't peaked any interest from me. Plus I have a lot of things I want to do instead of buying a gaming console or gaming at the moment (buy some guitars, turntables, need a surgery, do some traveling) and so I'm going to put a hold on the Destiny and we'll se what destiny 2 has in store. Also I was watching a twitch destiny stream then did a raid and realized i enjoyed doing the raid far less than watching it which showed me my interest was was waining. I'm not an mmo player, more from the cod shooter world, some FIFA, GTA. That's about it so some aspects of Destiny aren't things I fancied like the repetition and grind and rng. Oh and biggest is needing lfg to play was a change when you're used to just turning on the console and matchmaking a multiplayer lobby quickly. So hopefully in the future, I'm hoping to see optional matchmaking for everything, better drop rate to compensate for the rng, less grind. Pvp wise I may never get what I want which is much more balance and working autorifles lol. Well and less lag. Also when the time does come to buy a new console I'll be going 360 to ps4 and thus a massive deterrent for a player like me would be having to relevel characters and losing all my guns from my 360 characters. Hell I was pissed I even had to do pve to play Pvp I wasn't used to that in CoD and yes I really only got destiny for multiplayer originally. So I hope with destiny 2 they tester everybody to absolute zero so switching console wouldn't matter or or if they didn't reset everyone they offered a way to take a 360 character to ps4 not just Microsoft to Microsoft. Personally, I don't actually expect to see any of the things above that I'd want in Destiny. I just don't think my idea of a fun game is what Bungie wants. That's fine though. It's Bungie's game to make not mine and I'm not every consumer, just one. Regardless, I'll check out the raid streams. Just to see how it looks. And maybe Destiny 2 I'll come back.

1 ReplyWell, I've been here for 2 years. I plan on staying for all 10. Definitely buying. No game keeps me hooked as Destiny does. And it's about goddamn time we got some REAL new content.
-

I'll probably buy it. I haven't really been active in the game since Dark Souls 3 came out, but I'm excited to see what new things are in store for us in the Plaguelands.

If course I am getting it. I'm going to preorder on my personal games day for fall releases. I order everything at once lol :p

I might after I hear some positive feedback, these endless nerfs are sucking the joy out of it for me, learn a lesson from WOW bungie, they lost a lot of their player base (revenue) due to nerfs.
-
All I will say is this: I'm going to upgrade from my 360 to a One eventually so this will more or less be my stepping stone. That being said, I will most certainly be looking into Titanfall 2 at a later date. Hope they bring back the SID AI voice.

Edited by Sage 13: 8/3/2016 4:05:58 PMUnfortunately FFXV comes out around the same time as RoI, so Destiny is going to have to wait. Plus, if I wait a couple of months I'll see just how much RoI improves or doesn't improve the endgame. Will people get tired of Destiny again after playing it everyday, or will it actually be fun again?
-
In some ways Destiny is like many others, people will stop playing it and move on and maybe come back for other dlcs or installments but also... for it to be a 2 year old game and still have as many people playing it as it does it has to be doing something right, this game for a lot of people is the best game out and its only replacement will be D2. Im buying the next dlc and every dlc after that, other games dont do for me what destiny does.

Ordered. Will see if the crackerjack bunch can get it right. Before I spend on destiny 2
-
I am! Ornaments? Axe relics? Yes!!

I'm in on the 10 year plan
