My dad just died
My father was passed out on the couch. Cold to the touch, no pulse to be found. CPR didn't work. My father was just pronounced dead. I don't know how to cope with this. Please, anyone help. I can't understand this.

My family's good friend who was a uncle to me died in 2011 from prostate cancer,my family made a charity in name of him,every year we have a golf outing and dinner to raise money and donate it,my brother came up with this idea when he was 12, so all I'm saying is there is always a positive way to use your emotions.

I'm very sorry. If you do need someone to talk to, I'm here, because I've been through similar, my father also passed on the couch, but it was due to his kidneys failing from his cancer, and right in front of my eyes too. Give it about a week. Just relax and chill and remember the good times you had with him. Then after that week, decide if you need more time, and if you do, then take it. If you don't, then you're already on the next step to moving on, and just try to continue on with life

4 RepliesI'm sorry. If you preformed CPR and gave up before EMTs got to the scene that's illegal, not that anyone would prosecute you, but still be careful.

Sorry for your loss man. I haven't had a parent die, but my grandmother died when I was little, and the really hurt. And don't get to upset by some of the people in this thread. They are either trying to get people riled up, or humor is how they confront hardship
