I know myself, I definitely play a lot more crucible whether content is new or dry and stale, but I get my fair share of strikes and stuff in as well. What about you?

I want to PvP more, but psych myself out and end up not doing it.
-
I try to alternate on days.
-
PVE because servers.
-
PVE and just do crucible when friends want to play it
-
1 ReplyI play around in the crucible but I take PVE seriously.

I started out right before house of wolves as a pve guy. I decided to make another character to level up, but I was getting one shotted by those wolf assholes so I went to pvp. Eventually I became decent enough in 6v6 to go positive more than negative and I started doing almost all pvp. After 2.0 dropped, I was still pvp focused but I gradually returned to pve because I was tired of the constant inconsistencies from game to game, along with connection issues, and then weapon nerfs (I admit that I like my crutches). Now, I just mostly grind pve to farm materials and glimmer to prepare for RoI and I will play iron banner when it comes around. Otherwise I am not too interested in pvp right now. It is not as fun as it was this time last year, at least that is my opinion.

It's about even, but I feel like I play more PvE

1 ReplyI usually get a good balance of both. But recently I've stopped PVE because I've done it all and got what I wanted (not everything but can't be bothered to grind PVE anymore) and I'm playing PVP almost all the time now until the DLC comes in sept.

I still do a bit of everything every week. Poe 41 and weekly crucible playlist for the sterling package. Couple heroic strikes if the modifiers seem fun. Usually run a VoG to try and get back the shattered vault cloak I dismantled. Plus I might solo the abyss if I feel like it. Decent amount of crucible to get some of the less tedious weekly bounties done. I would probably play a lot more if more of my friends were ever on.
-
I have a little more time invested in PvP, but that's because of failed Trial runs. I hardly do Trials now, though :/
-
Right now? Not playing much Destiny at all. As has been said, PVE is dried up. And when I want to play PVP, Destiny is not my first choice. While it's not terrible, I feel it's more of a challenge fighting connection than the other player. Not blaming everything on the connection, but it happens enough to turn me off.

Well considering I've literally done everything in the game, PvP is where i mostly chill. I'm known by quite a few people as a raid leader, but since the new raid is months away and this one is tired as hell, i only hit it up when friends/newbies need a sherpa. That being said though... I believe that true challenge will always lie within the confines of PvP. People are the ultimate challenge. PvE simply can't be unpredictable.

3 RepliesPvE Crucible is terrible. Way better pvp games out there. FPS raiding is pretty unique, and is the most rewarding. If only Bungie would realize that and go back to making this game primarily about the PvE
-
I actually don't really like pve in any game as much as I like pvp.
-
1 ReplyUsed to do everything as much as possible, now only pvp.
-
3 RepliesRocket league.

1 ReplyPlaying crucible more to get my 100 rumble wins, only 36 more wins to go.
-
1 ReplyI play more crucible now. Barely touched pvp outside of IB year 1. Now I'm getting bored of pve, only running bounties solo. Anything else I only do with my clan in pve. Pvp changes, different people do different things. It's still interesting.

2 RepliesEdited by rg270146-00: 7/18/2016 2:51:47 AMI used to play exclusively PVE but during the drought I started PVP and got better! So, now I play a ton of crucible lol

1 ReplyThe way we all measure enjoyment in pve is based on loot drops. Which are random, redundant, and seldom guaranteed. Pve also locks players into certain classes and play styles. Defender, res lock, bow hunter for example. I can enjoy my self in pvp losing, getting no loot drops, and solo just by getting that one satisfying kill. Pvp allows for multiple classes, gear load outs, and play styles. In pvp your results are based on your actions. Maybe not winning but life and death is not dependent on others knowing mechanics.

1 ReplyMostly crucible. I used to really like pve but kings fall just was not fun. Hopefully the next raid is better.
-
Crucible and strikes bby and rarely i raid
-
Crucible, because pve is stale

1 ReplyDon't play much at all anymore really, but when I do it's mostly pvp unless I'm helping a buddy out
