Helping the unfortunate guardians to the Lighthouse!
Long story short, I LOVE helping people. It's just my nature. After helping a few people to their 1st flawless EVER, I started receiving messages from them, as well as randoms, asking if I stream or if I do carries.
It started to hit me: Why don't I join the club and help those out while streaming as well? Therefore, I recently started streaming and so far have helped 5 people to their 1st LH since then. Yea, 5 people doesn't seem like a lot, but small beginnings can lead to bigger things! More importantly, the raw emotion and sound from their voices when flying into Mercury is just an AWESOME feeling!!!!
Guys, I understand how frustrating it can be: LFGs that ignore you bc of ELO, playing with guys who are douches and may potentially boot you, or not giving Trials a shot bc you are nervous about how competitive it can be. Trust me, we ALL started at one point. Some are naturally gifted and skilled, while others are late bloomers.
No I don't do double backpacks (I am no RealKraftyy, GernaderJake, etc.), but I am good enough to get those to the promise land. And like I said, I think it is just AWESOME to hear the raw excitement from plebs and the "below average" when they reach the endgame goal.

I will also be implementing a new interface for my Twitch channel so there will be a few test runs here and there setting it up, but I am pretty excited to use it! [b]***PLEASE READ***[/b]Questions regarding "The !List" and addressing the issue: There is a lengthy list for those who want to jump into Trials with me, [b][i][u]HOWEVER[/u][/i][/b]!...Due to a few people not showing up for their spots when it is time for their turn, this has created issues for those who are near the mid-end of the list who are anxious to play, but are discouraged to wait because of their position on the list. So, I have come to a simple solution: I will be implementing a [b]RAFFLE SYSTEM[/b]. [i]For those who don't know what or how the Raffle system works[/i], at [u][b]ANYTIME[/b][/u] during my Twitch stream, I will tell you to type in a specific word in my [b]chat [/b](for example, !hype, !flawless, !carry, !raffle, etc.). Once you type it, you will get confirmation that you have been added to the raffle. After everyone gets their raffles in, I will turn on the system and a random winner will be chosen immediately! The reason why it works is because you will most likely BE PRESENT! This also makes it FAIR for those who are rightfully present and gives [u]everyone an equal chance[/u] to win. The Raffle System will be used [b]tonight,[/b]. And like everything else, this is a learning process. Good luck guardians, and let's continue to pop more LightHouse cherries!!!

Awesome stream guys! Congrats to the few who went flawless. The chat was hyped (besides my nightbot LOL), some of the matches were sweaty, but overall it was FUN. Thanks to all those who came out and showed support for 5 hours straight! I will be streaming again later, this time earlier (9pm PACIFIC time) to accommodate those on the list to the Lighthouse and try and fit in the new batch of guardians who want in on the flawless run! Hope to see familiar guardians and I can't wait to meet the new ones! CHAT HYPE!!!

6 RepliesCan someone enlighten me as to how this works? Ive never properly tried trials as i am no where near good enough but from my understanding u have to win 9 straight matches? Now if thats the case how can someone who (lets say is average at best) at pvp be carried through 9 victories? Surely it will make it harder for the 2 decent people doing the carry?

They've all been to the LH at least once. I have not(Almost did a while ago, but the game crapped out on me on the last round.... -_-) If you'd be willing to help an old year 1 vet get his first LH, I play on X1 as CptTranquilSkye. :)

Awesome turn out for tonight/the weekend!!! I'm happy to those who were able to achieve their 1st Lighthouse EVER, and I'm completely determined to get those who could only run a card or 2 with me to the Lighthouse next weekend! This map is in my top 3 WORST maps to play on (somehow I managed to pull out a 2.04 KD for the weekend...weird), and the carries were intense and sweaty. But overall, it was awesome to help those achieve more than they've achieved before! There's always next weekend and the possibility of an awesome map. And honestly helping you guys really gives me a breath of fresh air in playing Trials. Take my word for it :) I will be bumping this thread thru out the week as a reminder for this weekend's ToO. If you have any questions, concerns, or you just want to talk Destiny, feel free to post and I'll be glad to reply back! Thanks again guardians!
