72.0 KD, 75.0 KD in Salvage??? You Kidding me right??
So I was reading the new "This week in Bungie" or whatever...
And I couldn't help but watch the honorable mention video that was some montage of some dude
so I decided to look at his stats....
Click the link and see for yourself...
72.0, 75.0 and a 76.0 K/D in games of Salvage each sandwhiched inbetween 2 games that are 0.00 K/D
How is this even possible??? You can't even score that many kills in those game modes can you???
His stats look fishy.... that's all I'm saying something doesn't add up
[b] EDIT #1 - I've seen some people say he is most likely stat boosting... IMO stat boosting/cheating is the same thing... I mean a person only cheats to boost.... It's not like a person cheats to try and get the lowest K/D[/b]

I mean I play my ass off to try and do as good as I can. Stuff like this is a slap in the face in my opinion.[/b]

Sadly it's not cheating but Bungie needs to give this guy a kick in the ass and take some of his rewards, but since they featured him on the front page he's now protected by them and could cheat and get away with it. Let's face it: bungie won't do anything to anyone that makes them look good.

He matched up against other friends, (you can tell because another person's gt is like his) Check the stats in the game, he had 76 kills, one player on the opposite team had one death, and 72 revives. The other two players had 37 and 38 deaths each. One person resurrected them and he just spawn killed them throughout the match. He is a booster. Edit: the player in question (not sharing the name for stupid naming and shaming rules) that I can pl you the gt boosted on his Titan, on July 11th at roughly 6:30 am, on salvage. The 2 matches in question were almost back to back.

9 RepliesFor anyone saying "Who cares?" "What harm is it? and "Casual game, so what?": You're right to an extent. That extent being as long as they're just tossing it off with buddies for kicks, but when that harmless behaviour starts to bring rewards like emblems, MOTW awards, and whatever else, it becomes an issue as those awards/rewards are achieved via disingenuous means and will cause friction when others play clean in order to achieve those types of things. Is it crime of the year? Of course not. Is it wrong? Yes. A ban? No. Rewards/awards stripped? Yes.

2 RepliesExcellent post, Bungie should hire you. But they would actually need to give a damn about the community to hire someone competent, so we know that won't happen. Its sad... this game had so many true fans, who defended Destiny and Bungie through the BS nerfs and overall joke that was the first few months of year 2. But it has just gotten to be too much. The cancellation of Trials a few weekends ago forced me to try another game (Paragon), and I am so glad it did. I was freed from the brainwashing of Bungie making you think the way they run their company and this game is acceptable! It is not! And we shouldn't accept it any longer. I have come back every weekend since that point, hoping to get back that love of the game, and I am instantly reminded of why this game is losing its fanbase. RIP Destiny... maybe Rise of Iron will resurrect what Destiny once was.

So I did some research... The player in question had his montage "ammunition" edited by someone named FaZe Barker. Barker charges people to make montages for them. His prices are $10 a clip. I didn't count the exact amount of clips that the player in question had, but it was a very long montage. At least 20 different clips... That's means he doesn't well over $200 on a montage that was made for him, for a chance at an emblem, that he will probably get stripped away because he is a booster TL;DR the player in question spent over $200 for someone to make that montage for him, all for a single emblem
