Primary Weapon Burn Upgrade Concept
It would be amazing if the new raid (or raids in the future) dropped a consumable similar to chroma that changed your primary burn to the associated color.
If you can change the external color of the gun why not be able to change the color of the inside.
This would add huge replay value to the raids. I have many primary guns that i like to use and would grind for burn upgrades. It's worth the effort.

This idea has been suggested before but it's quite a good one - I think they should be rewards you can only get from nightfalls too instead of the glowing heads we got in y1. That would somewhat make them useful to play again

Well, it would certainly address the reason they said they were dropping elemental primaries. Which as I understand it was that it made the go to weapons and "no one, like, ever, like, used anything else, like, for anything you know man?" So letting us simply add elements to other weapons means no more go to guns! Except the ones already preferred anyway. And it wouldn't impact PvP, at all.
