[/spoiler] As it turned out Amanda Holiday had a couple ships in storage so she gave each of us one. “You Guardians know what you’re doing after this?” Amanda asked as she was giving each of us our own ship. “Crucible with Fireteam Recon.” “A word of advice. Don’t do Rumble with Felix.” “Yea, I’ve seen what he can do.” I said, looking towards my new ship. The specifics said it was a Regulus Class 77. “Before we go to orbit can we take one last look at the Traveller from the balcony?” Ashley asked. “Why not, we were busy when we first got here.” I replied. We walked out to see a group of 3 guardians walk towards the Hall of Guardians. The Awoken in the group had part of his face covered in bandages while one of the humans had his right arm in a sling. The other human had 2 prosthetic arms and numerous bandages on his face and legs. He also looked uncomfortable from everyone staring at them. “Hey, there’s Felix” Jace stated, looking to our right where Felix was leaning on the railing to the side of Master Rahool’s tent. “So did Holiday have any spare ships?” Felix asked, turning towards us as we walked over. “She gave each of us one.” I answered. “Do you know what happened to them?” I asked, pointing over towards the stairs the wounded Guardians went down. “They’re part of Wolf Pack and they are the first to survive against Oryx and send him back to his realm.” Felix said with respect in his voice. I flinched when he said his name, remembering what I saw in the dream. If they had fought him and barely survived I didn’t want to face Oryx anytime soon. Sarah and Ashley were looking away when Felix was talking but he was facing me and didn’t give away if he noticed me flinch. “So what are we doing?” I asked, hoping to distract Felix. “Will and Angel are joining us for a few matches of Control.” Felix replied, pulling out his tablet to let them know that we were ready. Several minutes later we were all hovering in orbit waiting for Shaxx to tell us which arena to go to. “So how does the ammo work for this thing?” I wondered as I inspected the Omolon hand cannon that I received. “It uses a liquid ammo counter along with an energy projectile system from power cell magazines.” Jace explained, showing me the weapon schematics for the hand cannon. “Seems a bit unsafe.” I said, taking out the power cell. “Nah, its perfectly safe as long as its not exposed to the elements.” Jace said. “I WILL HAVE VENGENCE!!” Jace screamed a few seconds later, causing me to fall back in my chair. When I fell a little bit of Arc energy leapt between my fingers and some surrounding objects, including the energy cell which started glowing blue. “Uh… Jace what’s happening?” I asked, getting out of my seat and backing away. “That is what happens when the energy cell is exposed to an element.” Jace answered, hiding behind me. “When you say elements…” I said with a sinking suspicion. “I meant Solar, Arc and Void. What did you think I meant, extreme temperatures?” Jace said. “Actually I did.” I replied. Jace muttered something having to do with me. Suddenly the energy cell went off, knocking the chair into me and throwing me against the wall of the ship. “Why did you scream like that?” I asked, getting up and looking at the broken chair. “I didn’t think that you would let some of your Arc energy out.” Jace answered. “I haven’t used any energy for several days.” I replied. “It’s all built up.” “I actually forgot.” “And I am not taking out weapons on board anymore.” I said, pushing the remains of the chair into the corner, making a mental note to see if Holiday could repair the marks where the energy cell went off. “All guardians set course for Shores of Time. Let’s see what you’ve got!” Shaxx said, thankfully taking my mind off what happened. “I swear Shaxx picks this map just to torment me.” Will complained. “Come on it’s not that bad of a map.” Felix said. “Every f****** time I get this map I do terrible. I’ve won on this map, but still.” “Well don’t let your opinions affect theirs.” Angel commented. “What planet is Shores of Time on?” Sarah asked. “Venus.” Felix answered. “Sweet! I wanted to go to another planet.” Sarah said with enthusiasm in her voice. “ETA is 15 minutes Bravo team. Gear up.” Shaxx announced. “D***it we got the bad spawn.” Felix stated before turning off his com system. “Well, enough of that. Let’s figure out what to use.” I turned towards my weapons crate and opened it, reviewing what I have. After a few seconds I grabbed the scout rifle and sidearm along with the machine gun. I let Jace transmat the other weapons away if I needed to switch mid match. Having finished everything I needed I sat back in the pilot’s seat and waited to land.
