Please remove exotic shards from exotic infusion!
Since it's even tedious to find exotic shards, infusing exotics have gotten a little more challenging. Since Xur no longer sells it, what's the point?
Edit: instead of exotic shards, why not have double materials for the price of removing exotic shards from infusing? Some may not like the idea but if anybody has better ideas, I'm open.
Edit 2: so people keep saying "use the kiosk method" or "use the 3 of coins" and let me tell you about how easy it was before TTK!
Kiosk method? As I said, [i]So you think it's so quick/cheap/easy to farm from 0 glimmer to 25,000 in 10 minutes? Please tell me how cause I just started on ps4 and it took me days to get from 0 to 25,000 glimmer and I didn't spend any glimmer either. Plus the main factor everybody forgets is...what about if you have ZERO shards? This method does not apply to those who has 0 shards so spare me![/i]
(Telling me to spend 2,500 glimmer would prove my point in more ways than one. For starters, it's tedious. Second, you failed to calculate telemetries cost as well as weapon parts to buy the telemetries. Third, it requires motes and new players may not have a lot of it. Finally, you're doing all of this just for 1 extra shard [need 1 for infusion and the other goes to the kiosk])
3 of coins? That doesn't always guarantee an exotic! Some are luckier than others so MAYBE this could work for them. 3 of coins is RNG, not a guarantee! Remember that!
Before? Xur sold shards for 7 strange coins. That's it! No more effort was needed. Now, tell me how it doesn't get any easier than that?

I agree. Before TTK started I had like 99+ exotic shards. And as the months went by and very few exotic drops later. I only have about 20 or so left

Meh, of course I get constant duplicates but if you play Crucible or farm PoE for a few rounds you can get plenty of strange coins so blowin'em on 3oC isn't too bad. I have about 100-120 strange coins by the time Xur gets here and I don't play everyday

I feel like at minimum infusing an exotic WITH ANOTHER EXOTIC should not cost an additional exotic shard since technically you would be getting it from the exotic you sharded into the other, legendaries im fine with because they have no shard

Spend on shard on an exotic at the blueprint kiosk. Level it up. Shard it. Recieve 2 shards. Repeat as necessary.

Agreed It's a waste of the rare items throwing them away to buff a gun 3 points and have to do it again when I find another gun 2 points above that I can't gets the armor I like to be strong as I want of u keep add new obstacles

2 RepliesSorry but I do not understand how players can be low on exotic shards. Try just playing the game. I have never used the "kiosk method". I use approx 20 3oc each week. Exotics drop on a regular basis as either an engram or actual exotic items. I started TTK with approx 130 exotic shards, I now have approx 200. For example during the first week of COE exotic POE weapons were dropping every 2 or 3 runs.

I think it's stupid when you infuse an exotic with an exotic and it still costs an additional shard.

Go buy an exotic heavy (cost 2,500 glims and 1 exotic shard) from the kiosk, put on class item that buff heavy upgrade, burn a heavy upgrade boost from Gun smith, now use motes of light. When fully upgrade dismantle and get 2 exotic shards!

Don't infuse every exotic you have. It sounds like your one of those people that just doesn't stock up and just spends. you have to pace yourself every if you don't want to its just like in real life don't spend all your money in one spot or even at all save up. -PostwarAgate

Here's just a little tip you can use to find exotic shards: | \ / [spoiler]Just stock up on legacy engrams when xûr comes around, and then when you need an exotic shard, just dismantle the exotic armor/weapon, and, voilà, exotic shard. Then later if you want that back later, all you have to do is find it in the exotic armor kiosk by the vanguards, and finally, but it for a cheap price of 125 legendary marks.[/spoiler]
