And bungie will listen and nerf a gun that does not need to be nerfed. This is why the game is turning into a slow paced piece of flower.

1 ReplyEdited by B: 6/18/2016 7:49:27 AMI think im sitting this one out. Last time around all my rank 5 drops where items he was selling. Still waiting on a godly grasp though. We farmed tonight and netted nearly 20 between the three of us. Pretty much all garbage rolls.
-
Not even going to attempt to farm it for this exact reason, lol
-
Yep me and my friends are anticipating ti and farming like crazy

And bungie will listen and nerf a gun that does not need to be nerfed. Best all around gun in current meta.. just alot of ppl don't have it sorta like doctrine at first. You're right now everyone will be after it and dying from it and guess what cries for a nerf will come

3 RepliesHere's the problem with the archetype. There is so few variety of this archetype people are forced to use the Grasp because it's the only decent pulse that is really good. Hopscotch Pilgrim had its similar fate in year 1. It was the same archetype as the Grasp, and everyone wanted it because of its archetype and perks. But Bungie nerfed it. If Bungie could add more variety to this archetype and more access to this archetype with different weapons, we wouldn't be in this situation we have now.

1 ReplyEverytime they nerf certain guns other guns become the default best. People jump on he bandwagon. Those guns get nerfed. Rinse and repeat. They can never completely balance this game because there are too many moving parts.

The only that needs a nerf Is the stagger
-
How bout you shut up and deal with it

Edited by Renots66: 6/18/2016 3:32:30 AMI finally got 1 tonight lol. The best I had is on my hunter. Not bad but Def not the best. We killed her 43 times. Got 9 warlock bonds (on hunter) And 4 grasps. Gunslinger with dead eye. Nighthawk. Does 450000 damage. I think. It does 75% of her health.

2 RepliesI wont, i dgaf about mida, or doctrine, or grasp ever. This guy gives zero fcuks.

3 RepliesWhat's a grasp of malok?
-
...and?
-
And this is why you should always stick with the trusty Righteous XIII. Will never let you down as long as you aim for the head :)

Honestly they will it's a great gun, almost too great compared to the nerfed other guns we have. The ROF is insane, get a stability roll on there, it has good range. No weaknesses, melts people. Was using it in pvp for first time tonight. Was practically laughing my way through free for all as I got 2.3 and 2.5 k/d in my first two games.

20 RepliesEdited by House_Of_Ninjas: 6/18/2016 2:14:16 AMHonestly, I don't understand why people use them. Not hating on the guns like grasp of malok or the other highly rated super high ROF pulse rifles, but why do people use them, if you want to shoot that fast then grab an Auto Rifle.
-
5 RepliesPeople will play Iron Banner? Really?
-
And grasp isn't even the best pvp gun in the game
-
2 RepliesToo True. Hopefully instead of nerfing they will take a look at other pulse rifles and possibly adjust (buff) those. Any gun that people think is too good, just gets knocked down.

It's not op

21 RepliesEdited by Erijian: 6/17/2016 3:46:40 PMThe Grasp of Malok and Doctrine/High RoF autos aren't really comparable; Bungie won't touch it. Doctrine kill times pre-nerf: ~0.80s for crits (13 CRT), ~1.00s for bodyshots Grasp of Malok kill times: ~0.80s for crits (8 CRT, 1 BDY), ~1.33s for bodyshots SUROS PDX-45 kill times: ~0.87s for crits (8 CRT), ~1.33s for bodyshots The only time the Grasp is as powerful as the Doctrine was would be if you landed practically every single hit in your burst, with only one body shot allowed; it has no leniency if you're hitting bodyshots unlike the Doctrine. Can we also stress the magazine size of the two weapons; one can be prefired with few repercussions while the other can't, especially when using Braced Frame. *Burst weapons are extremely prone to human error when calculating kill times*

I'm kinda disappointed all the noobs have grasp now. I enjoyed being a special snowflake. That's the problem with this game. Too many noobs.
