No longer rumors... it's a confirmed fact
-
2005 called, they want there gaming system back.
-
1 ReplyYou have a solid 3 months to save money. If you remotely care about gaming, it shouldn't be hard to save up.
-
Not rumours, confirmed!!! And thank -blam!- for that.
-
Don't call me a elitist for having a job and money management skills. Sorry a lot of us have disposable income?
-
It's not a rumor. based on the trailer it's a fact.
-
Best of luck buddy! Time to mow some lawns?
-
This is a good thing.
-
I just like the approach here

1 ReplyXbox One = 300 Now till Sep 30 = 3 months+ 300/3 = $100 a month 100/4 = $25 a week 25/7 = $3.57 a day Stop eating fast food 2 or 3 times a week(cause on average people spend $6-9 every trip) and you can afford a next gen console. Note: cant include price of Roi as it hasnt been announced yet.

It had to happen some day, next gen is holding alot of possibilities back. It seems like theyre expanding more areas of the Cosmodrome, adding a new social space and much more. I dont think last gen deserves to be left behind, but as video game developers with creative minds, last gen was holding some of those ideas back. Its a good thing overall, destiny will finally be able to expand into greater things. Youll still be able to play destiny, as they've said in the weekly update. I can't say last gen users can be mad, since they're running on outdated hardware (and its a miracle they made TTK run on legacy consoles with the amount of content that expansion brought in). My thoughts is that they simply ran out of data for the legacy consoles, they tried squishing it in, but if they did it would probably be a huge mess for legacy owners. anyways, rip last gen, they had a good run.

4 RepliesEdited by theREALjakevan: 6/9/2016 4:07:57 PMWouldn't surprise me. Rumor is that the patrol area is getting expanded alot. Last gen can't handle the game properly as is, let alone with more open world space. If you saved like a dollar per day and waited for decent sales...since the CURRENT generation started...you could have both X1 and Ps4. Are people really that -blam!-ing broke? Im 24, have a wife, a house payment, and a brand new car payment for -blam!-s sake. And I still own both consoles. It is to make the game better...they should not be making games lesser for current gen to make them run on last gen.

Edited by Grymmlee: 6/9/2016 4:29:17 PMThis whole last gen, current gen battle going on is ridiculous. People that own current gen aren't eletists. They were just able to save money for a console. And there's nothing wrong with still being on last gen either. Sometimes life gets in the way and luxuries like a console aren't justifiable. Everyone needs to take a breath and relax.

5 RepliesI don't think we will see current gen only until destiny 2, and yes I'm a last gen user....
-
I'm not a elitist as you like to call us Xbone owners....it's called saving in advance and planning. Not only did you have years before it released to save but it's been out for what 3 yrs now? To save $300 in 3 yrs takes less than 28 cents a day...
-
5 RepliesEdited by TGI Skuldier: 6/9/2016 12:12:11 PMI don't really think it's a financial issue it's more that they are denying a part of a game they decided to release on last gen in the first place. All of this could have been avoided at launch but nope. Carving up a game because "reasons" is retarded. It would be a different story if it was a completely new game but its just a dlc. A typical Destiny dlc at that. I sincerely doubt there are going to be any amazing new graphics, features, or server updates for RoI. Especially since even though the dlc is going to current gen they are still going to have last gen running in the background still eating up time and data lol. These money arguments are hilarious. Particularly when you look at the fact that last gen people would have to chunk out 360 clams for the ssdd. The only difference is crap like touch of malice spinning.
-
Anyone still on last gen is a -blam!-ing fool. Wtf is wrong with you? These are video games. The hardware needs to be upgraded in order for the software to be upgraded. It's simple. 11 years you have had that POS. Current gen isn't even next gen anymore. Wtf did you think was going to happen?
-
Do something for yourself. You consider yourself a gamer? Dump that old system. You will not regret it.
-
So now managing to scrounge up $300 in disposable income over the course of a year and a half makes sometime an elitist?
-
For -blam!- sakes..... it's been out for like 4 years now..... you can buy a new Xbox one for under $300 and a used one for like $200.... just upgrade already.... you can get half of what you need by just selling your 360....
-
What makes me an "elitist" for owning an xbox1 ??? I had it in 360 but bought a 1 for the expansions !!! Because my common sense kicked in and said "hey guy, they made this game for the next gen consoles so eventually, and soon, this game will not be made for this console !!! So what for 10 years last gen will be holding me back ??? I work hard, with my hands, for my money, for my food and Xbox ... And I want the best experience possible because I paid for that... Ooh and by the way I had to purchase vanilla twice, and it was worth it
-
They have done something for you- they've given you 2 years of content. I don't understand how any last gen people can be surprised by this, you had to have known this was going to happen eventually.
-
*Current gen* Fixed
-
How are you able to afford stuff like destiny and all the dlc etc etc? But not an current gen? As soon as current gen dropped I started saving up ( little here's and a little there it was not hard at all) and within a few months blam! Brand new Xbone. Just because you failed to have the foresight to upgrade to the better system , doesn't mean the rest of the community should have to suffer crappy and low quality content. If it's truly to much of a burden to upgrade , then you probably need to find a different hobby. Video games get expensive , that's how it's been since forever .

Current gen mate.
