Do you guys give your characters in games real/serious names?
I just wanted to see what people did when naming their character.

Naming my character has become such a chore for me. I loathe it now.

Sometimes. Like if I want a character in a fantasy game to have a serious name, I'll usually use the name Llivis Severii. But if I'm not taking it seriously, I'll give the character a stupid pun for their name.

My names always mean something and fit the game, fit the character from a role-playing perspective.

Sometimes. In dark souls I always name then what my build is since I make multiple characters. So I have Faith and quality on dark souls 3 right now.

Usually, I just end up giving my character my own name because I'm too lazy and not creative. Though sometimes, I just get bored and name it something like "Shlonglord Supreme".

Every character is either my first name or my last. My last name is cool and as for my first name that's just habit from pokemon. You know pretending they are you and all that jazz. It also works for both male and female characters.
