Shade step is a Crutch
Nuff said. If you don't think so then you're blind
My beef with shade step is not shade step it self but how how much it's capable of. It can stay but it's needs tuning because it's ruins gun fights and the momentum of the game.

1 ReplyA crutch is something that makes up for a player's lack of skill. Shadestep doesn't suddenly turn a bad player into a good one. Please learn the proper definition of these words before throwing them around, people.

Most people I see complain about shade step are really upset that anything they use with tracking is canceled, so the tracking crutch is gone. Normal nontracking bullets still work. Shade step is fine.

You hate on shade step because your sick of people hating warlocks because bunji loves them so much. You have self res and mele that has more range than a shot gun and makes you close to invincible. :(

Wah. Shadestep is a crutch, self res is a crutch, most exotic armor pieces are crutch pieces. So what? Learn to play against them. I've been sniped mid shadestep, its obviously possible to counter.

Only thing I can think of is because all the other things were addressed. For example,sunbreakers got nerfed (what they were crying about previously), then it was fire bolts (dispite not being nerfed most have moved on realizing nothing will be done), now it's ss. Look, if ss was really that bad, you all would've been bitching 7 months ago. The fact that you all are only doing now, over the last month or two sorta defeats your own argument. You all just need someone to whine and cry about. I'm glad bungie is smart enough to ignore all of these ss nerf posts, just like they ignored fire bolt and mida nerf posts. During IB I killed 3 played mid ss, so they're not invincible. When you do you get the "I see you" medal because the game treats thier kill mid ss as if they were invisible. So don't tell me it can't be done.
