Shade step is a Crutch
Nuff said. If you don't think so then you're blind
My beef with shade step is not shade step it self but how how much it's capable of. It can stay but it's needs tuning because it's ruins gun fights and the momentum of the game.

The amount of times I've killed a fellow hunter mid shadestep I'd say bullshit on it being a cruth. And before you yell at me for being a hunter main -blam!- yourself because I use bladedancer in crucible

My only problem is the people who don't have cool down on it who can shade step for days.

But you get a shield just for hitting me... And I'm surprised you know what gunfights are, usually you just lob a random firebolt and run. I kid I kid... Kind of ;)

Actually, shadestep is lacking a crutch. If the hunter using shadestep had a crutch, he wouldn't be rolling everywhere.

What makes it worse is that xur is selling the gravitron forfeit lol . every hunter you see in PVP will be shadestepping. So yeah ..good luck! Because soon I will be another shade stepping hunter😉

So is you last word and 1000 yard stare, really they are implemented in the game for you to use, just like the two guns you use. So quit complaining and get back in their and show them otherwise. Your good, now get better and stop complaining.

3 RepliesI just tried it out in ToO and it is very interesting. I'm an average PvP player and I managed to kill the whole opponent team by myself in ToO thanks to shadestep. My teammates was dead and I killed the first guy with my shotgun and then rapidly killed the other guy with tether. That left one guy standing and he wasn't that close to me so I shadestepped forward twice and shot him with my shotgun. He could barely shoot me while I was rolling towards him even though I just rushed against him leaving me completely vulnerable. So you're basically invincible in a 1v1 fight. But are there any counters for it? Not really because you're invincible for a couple of frames and you can't even stick a fusion grenade on a shadestepping hunter. Yes that [i]is[/i] OP but could easily be fixed. If you're able to damage someone that shadesteps it would not be OP.

So your beef is shadestep does what it was designed to do. It is an evade it is supposed to ruin gun fights and change the momentum.

How does it ruin the game? If someone you're in a gun fight with has to shade step to run away, then you did a good job, well done
