Skynet is an ai that can travel through time and time lines. It can send death bots to kill their enemies.
The vex are a organic race that have time travel. They have machine bodies and can simulate people and organics that aren't paracasual.

3 RepliesSkynet uses the Internet to spread and technology. It is very small in number compared to the vex. Though it can pump out a tonne of foot soldiers, the vex can just teleport in to near the mainframe and take out the central cortex. It would be a tough battle for the cortex with Skynets crazy defence. All the vex would need to do is drop one massive bomb on the central AI to disable it. In retrospect, Skynet is an artificial AI. If it can hack the vex, it may just make it. The vex are part machine, which may mean that it can be hacked. Their goblins have a big weakness. Their brain is exposed and is easy to shoot. They will have a big issue with snipers and minotaurs. Does skynet have void weapons to battle the minotaurs? If not, than they're toast. Their only chance is releasing a virus into the vex if they can. But another issue is that will the AI be able to make a virus that can effect the vex? Skynet created a virus that spread throughout the world and infected everything it touched. The virus had a mind of its own. If it can do that with the vex, it will stand a chance. I don't think skynet would have as much capability is space as the vex. They can both time travel. Skynet has used this to eliminate the commanders of the resistance. The vex will only do that if you aren't a part of the pattern. I think in a total war, the vex have this for sure. I think their technology is much advanced and they are ancient beings. Their metal is not something we've even seen before and we're not sure what kind it is. Their technology would be the same way.

15 RepliesSkynet...if it fits "The Pattern" (See Paradox Mission when you collect the ghosts) To the Vex, as long as you fit in The Pattern, you won't be erased from existence. Though I don't know if Skynet rebelling against the Vex would disrupt "The Pattern". What would be interesting if "The Pattern" would dictate the Annihilation of the Vex by Skynet, then Skynet would win. We survived the vault and killed Atheon. Since the Vex didn't go back in time to erase the traveler to avoid the creation of the guardians, then maybe certain rebellions and victories against the Vex won't/don't disrupt "The Pattern" Hmmm

Edited by The Brostradamus: 5/26/2016 8:26:26 PMSkynet as an AI is a pretty stupid one. Their plans are dumb, and horribly executed. Especially considering the technology at their disposal. So I'm going with Vex.

Not exactly an unbiased audience here, but yeah the Vex could fk skynet up lol

4 RepliesA more appropriate title would have been atheon vs skynet.

15 Repliesok im making the asumption that the guardians have not beaten the vault of glass nor destoryed the black guardians heart. (or beaten any of their bosses really) i have to give it to the vex as they have the majority of better stuff. - with atheon being their major boss he would be quite literally immortal outside the vault of glass granting the vex the ultimate advantage - their restorative mind would repair and major damage done - the vex can lock places out of time meaning that the terminators would lose some advantage in trying to go back to the past to take out their bosses such as atheon, the restorative mind etc... - for the most part little is known about the vex and they may have very advanced weaponry that is unknown to us (for all we know they could have a death star/starkiller base type thing somewhere else in the universe)

9 RepliesSkynet could never win, due to the Vex's superior time travel capabilities. The monent they entered this plane of existence, they existed in all time frames at once. If they wished to, they could go back to the point where Skynet never existed and erase the concept of Skynet as a whole. The reason why the Vex could easily counter Skynet if it does the same is due to it's ability to adapt by sending information from the future back the past. The Vex would have an army trillions waiting for Skynet if it decides to travel back to any point in time.

13 RepliesI voted Vex, cuz I never heard of skynet, and cuz the Vex can erase anything from existence if they want to. #TitanMasterRace

1 ReplyCouldn't Skynet just find a way to control Vex minds? That's kind of their whole deal.
-
3 RepliesThe vex have paracausal powers, they can erase the idea of Skynet through an altered version of the Hive Sword logic
-
If the timeline stretches far enough skynet can evolve into a self contained unit like the traveller and then jump itself back to the beginning of time and erase everything. Just like the vex. But math never wins over heart in the end.

3 RepliesEdited by Sage: 5/26/2016 7:09:53 PMVex man. Just... vex. Atheon . Ect.

Vex go back to a period way before human history and terraform Earth to their needs before humanity evolves. Vex win.

13 RepliesForget the time travel aspect of it. While skynet could go back in time at any point in human history, the vex existed for millions of years before that. So fighting in different times doesn't really benefit skynet. The issue is this: the human race manages to defeat skynet in a war of attrition after a global nuclear Apocalypse in the future. That's why skynet has to keep going back in time: they always lose the war. The vex, with all their advanced technology, would stop skynet. Also, they could pull a Skolas and bring legions through time to attack all at once. Skynet can only send one at a time. No contest

4 RepliesWe know that the Vex exist in the future of Destiny so they win.
-
8 RepliesThe Vex. Terminators can be defeated with conventional weaponry. The Vex weaponry is far more advanced, and Sky net simply can't compete.
-
1 ReplyThe vex can just go back in time before the whole thing of skynet even started

Edited by Zelrons: 5/26/2016 7:24:15 PMThe Vex would eat the entire planet and Skynet couldn't do shit.
