Vex mythoclast
Why isn't this gun in year two? It would be nice to have another exotic with a primary burn.

You can't run Smart Drift Control because the DPS is terrible since they nerfed the damage of it, so you end up having to choose between Linear Compensator and Aggressive Ballistics just to keep your DPS competitive..Aggressive Ballistics is literally unusable at anywhere but melee range because it hurts your Range AND Stability too much, so you're left with Linear Compensator to keep your Range and Stability at usable levels..Also it doesn't help that both Aggressive Ballistics and Linear Compensator hurt your aim assistance, which is crucial on the Vex Mythoclast. Reserves are also pretty terrible now as well, even worse with Send It. Freaking RIP.

2 RepliesThe latest nerf to damage (that came along with a stability increase for all FRs) has pretty much destroyed it. I don't understand Bungie's mentality of destroying a weapons damage/DPS to compensate for being able to hit your target.

1 ReplyI remember when the Vex was God tier. Only way you could win a gunfight against it was if you had one as well. Several nerfs later it was still great. Then 1.1.1 happened and it became trash. Truthfully, I haven't played in months. KF challenge mode just became boring. It was by far the easiest raid. All of the bosses were jokes. I still have the disk. Bungle just needs to give me a reason to play again. By what I'm reading on the forums. That isn't happening. Just pick up another game. I'm currently playing the Division. Free raid like content and quick fixes for glitches and exploits.

I actually pulled mine out of my vault yesterday just to run around with it while patrolling & I forgot how fun this gun was I had a blast melting enemies but like someone else said you run out of ammo quickly.i I would love this to be brought forward to Y2 & even Destiny 2.

That was my favorite weapon in the game. I loved it's lore and just watching it obliterate minions of the darkness was my all-time most enjoyable experience in Year-1.

No doubt. I loved running that thing on bounties. Raids? Not really that useful (burns ammo fast!), but on low to mid-level enemies it was a beast.
