Do you code? Removing a perk that is in a lot of weapons and making sure that any code implemented doesn't cause collateral damage is not easy. Logic is coming to the conclusion that if it was that simple Bungie would have done it instead of ruffling people's feathers. People need to realize that finding an error in codes is like finding a tan needle in a haystack the size of a house. There is a giant glitch where they lost out but was never fixed, it's called Crota.

  • People paid for the dark below. Where did they lose out? If anything, they gained; little effort and alot of money. Disabling or removing would do the trick. If they tried to find it and the engineers done what they are paid to do, I'm sure it could be sorted quick. It makes you wonder how many people they have working on the coding of the game.

For that time period when Crota was the only PVE end game content then yah, Bungie was the one losing out. By losing out I mean like getting the short end of the stick. So we may have different definitions. I didn't mean it as them losing money. I meant it as the end game being beaten way faster than they thought it would take. So you think the engineers are just sitting there chewing gum? It's not an easy fix.

  • No, not chewing gum. Probably eating doughnuts, playing cards, whatever they do at bungie to pass time. Im sure they are working on fixing it, but they could have done something other then just calling trials off. Even just let it run. I'd rather get shot eith heavy then be bored for the whole weekend. I haven't ran into anyone using the heavy ammo glitch, maybe I'm just really luck. All I have been playing is doubles though.

  • Would removing heavy until the bug was fixed have been viable? I'm not a coder so don't know the answer myself. Thanks for reply.

  • They mentioned that ammo is difficult to fiddle with back when they were trying to fix the heavy ammo glitch in Crota. With out seeing how the entire game is coded we can't really be sure. That's why logically assuming (even tho assumptions are iffy to begin with) if it was as easy as removing this or disabling that it would have been done. Bungie knows they would be upsetting a good amount of people and wouldn't go to this extreme if it was a simple fix.
