"Trials of Osiris is cancelled for this weekend."
What will they do without their Tryhards of Osiris to test their lagswitch-fu against one another?
... probably pollute the Strikes and Patrols in hopes of getting Exotic Engram Infusion Fuel, and piss off all the usual PvE players who wish the tryhards would go back to Mercury and stay gone.
Edit: Wow. Sweaties are out in force in the forums tonight. They're so upset that they can't sweat all over each other to see who is the sweatiest of them all.
Edit 2: Mmm... sweaty tears make the best soup. Keep it coming, all you Tryhards of Osiris. If I get enough, I can make a pot of soup large enough to end hunger in Kenya.
Edit 3: All the salt from sweaties here is incredible. I've never seen anything like this! This is amazing! <- you read those last two bits in Lord Shaxx's voice.
Edit 4: Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Sweaties.
Edit 5: Sweaties... on the surface of my mind! I will endure!
Edit 6: Zavala: "Guardians. We've picked up a High-Gain transmission. Origin Point: Somewhere within the Forums." -indistinct raging and salt- Ghost: "Those are sweaties, the bane of Destiny. If I'm understanding them correctly, it's just distress salt. There are so many angry kids out there, Guardian. It'd be a shame to stop baiting them."
Edit 7: Something salty stirs in the depths of the forums. We can feel it. A sweaty abomination bred for unthinkable rage. We must pierce the veil of their summoning trials and destroy this creature. Before the sweaties unleash them upon us all.
Edit 8: The Sweaties has no House. They kneels before no banner, owes allegiance to no Gamemode. They are Crybabies, and very good at it when they do-o-o-o. I have been tracking them since Clown Cartridge broke their chains, yes? Now Sweaties works for PVE, but not for long..."
Edit 9: Ghost: "I can't believe the forum is intact- oh sweaties, it's covered in sweaties."
Edit 10: Dinklebot: "We've awoken the sweaties!"
As the most-liked comment in the thread, I bring you...
Edit 11: The Sweaties will continue to claw at the walls of our community unless we strike them down. Beneath the ruins of the Forums, in the shadow of an old Mtn Dew bottling facility, we've located the House of Sweaties' basement and the Twitch streamer feeding them their strength. We must destroy this lifeless husk and send their souls screaming back to hell. - Ev1LDragonFly
Edit 12: As of 12:43AM, Eastern USA time, 5/21/2016... we reached 100 upvotes, despite the angry sweaties and their downvotes. To commemorate, I bring you a video featuring the best Destiny character of all time. <- click there
Edit 13: As of 3:21PM, Eastern USA time, 5/21/2016... we reached 200 upvotes, despite the angry sweaties and their downvotes. To commemorate the occasion, I bring you a Limerick.
There once was a game mode called Trials.
It was favored by most juveniles.
But how could we forget?
Kiddies just love to sweat.
And end up acting like big steaming piles.
2 RepliesThe bungie fourms a rusting monument to the sweaties. Someday we will reclaim this place right?
-
20 RepliesWe will build a wall and the sweaties will pay for it, and they will not be able to cross the border into PvE

2 RepliesJesus, god forbid someone puts in 110% to something haha. Seriously though, just because they enjoy that gameplay means you need to make fun of them? There's a massive division between PvE and PvP players of Destiny and it concerns me, as you all play the same game together I'm not going to excuse the 'get gud' or the 'K/D argument' but this just seems mean spirited. Plus, the only thing no Trials does is fill normal gameplay with it. Counter productive really

9 RepliesI suck at PVP and I've never been in Trials and never will. I am not nor will I be a sweaty. This post is really -blam!-ing stupid.

I'm inclined to spend quite a bit of time in the trials, sometimes over 100 games a weekend. Without it, the boredom I'm left with is replaced with the rage I experience at 2v3 or 1v3 salvage/skirmish games when I simply want to use fun loadouts.

1 ReplyThere is so much win in this post and all its edits, I came to see tears, I stayed for the hilarious quotes.

11 RepliesAll this disparaging talk of people who play competitively and the overuse of variations of the word "sweat." I'm going to go out on a limb here and bet: 1. someone has a negative k/d 2. never been to the lighthouse 3. blames people who are better than him (which is a lot; see 1 above).

59 Repliesthis is for everyone calling this good bait these are ops words
Holy shit, another 360 player. Nice to meet you. Also, thank you for being the first person to be CIVIL in their defense of Trials. That said, I have never gotten 9 wins on a ticket. After 6, the SBMM seems to think me and my friends are lighthouse-worthy and sticks us in with super-sweaty tryhards that stomp our dicks until we can't move. I can't count the number of times I have sniped someone or shotgunned someone... gotten a hit marker, and then exploded because they are behind me or off to the side with a different sniper. It's because of people like this who do that kind of crap to win that Trials has such a terrible stigma among people who prefer PvE and less brutal PvP modes. I've seen so many sites offer to 9-0 people for money, so many streamers play on "multiple accounts" that people pay them to play on, and witnessed first-hand such abhorrent lag... that Trials is just not worth it to me or anyone I play with. It's a shame, as it does give great loot. But with so many cheaters and crucibabies polluting the mode... it's just best to avoid it.
this post was not created as bait, it was a legitimate salty post that received way too much attention, and OP couldn't take the heat.

13 RepliesEdited by The 7th fall: 5/21/2016 11:27:04 PMLol love the quotes and the edits. Yeah when my buddy and I were doing a few heroic strikes it was painfully obvious the idiots from Crucible were trying to play PvE... who is stupid enough to use a Water Star on a Wolf Walker or a Truth RPG on a friggen armored Centurion?! Even in a brief patrol earlier we found people using PvP loadouts that are definitely not suited for PvE... not joking.

3 RepliesUpdate: Sweaties spotted in CoE with flawless titan mark and Doctrine. Died over 35 times.
